    blk91coupe : 1991 Accord EX

Here's how my car currently sits. It's no longer my car but at least it's staying in with my family. It's now my dad's car.

    Information:

    Drivetrain:
Current: JDM H22a from I think a 94 Accord SiR paired with a stock EX transmission.
OBX 92-5 prelude header (had to grind down the crossmember and wrap cylinder #1 tube due to closeness to AC line).
Newer stock replacement exhaust from header back.
    NGK plug wires
    Excedy pro kit
11.5 pound flywheel (not sure of the brand hopefully it holds up)
H23 prelude power steering pump and bracket for now.

Past: Stock f22a4 replacement with approximately 110,000 miles as of 3/31/15. Body Currently has about 316,000 miles.
Cheapo intake it came with. T2T4 diff went bad and wouldn't hold the passengers side axle in and I never followed through with Steve at hmo to get it fixed...

    Exterior:
Blackhoused 92-93 JDM 1 piece headlights
90-91 JDM 1 piece headlights (Sold)
    USDM 90-91 foglights
    Legend sedan lip
Spyder red and clear rear tail lights

    Interior:
Factory leather with Acura CL front seats

    Suspension/Wheels:
    Tein Basic coilovers
    Ingalls front ball joints
    Wicked Tuning Rear Camber Arms
Sprint strut bar (past, won't fit with H22a)
    91 EX wheels (past)
    17" Centerline RPM (past)
    CD5 EX wheels current spares
    PCW 14" with winter tires
    17" BBS RK

    Audio/Electronics:
    Pioneer Premier deck
    Pioneer 6x9 in rear

    Future Plans:
    H22 swap (accomplished)
    Bodywork and paint
    Yonaka catback
    New Coilovers eventually
    New radio (preferably Kenwood)
    JDM side markers
    Morimoto Mini Projectors

Nice CB7. forgot to add the 92/93 grille to the exterior mods.

Clean CB man! Looks like you've taken really good care of it, I'm jealous of the non-oxidizing paint haha.

If at first you don't suceed, then skydiving is not for you.

I try not to down talk anyone, when I read my old questions I realize I was an idiot too.

Thanks! I actually cut the 91 accord grill to fit the 90/91 JDM headlights and it still fits witht the 92/93 lights.

Thanks but my clear coat is pretty much gone on the top panels unfortunately and its' got quite a few dents here and there. Maybe I'll fix that stuff eventually. As for now though I just enjoy driving it like it is.

          Very clean!

I'd recommend painting the body trim black again, it'll look great!

Thanks, if or when I paint the car I want to replace all the trim but I think I'll take your advice and paint it for now.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited to have found them. All I know is they are 17x7 and the offset is 42. I think they may have been made in 07.

Well about a week and a half ago I broke down going over on of the I-90 bridges near Seattle. Needless to say that was an interesting place to breakdown.

The engine is shot so today I ordered an H22 and the tune up and replacement parts needed to put the motor in my car. I am super excited!

Sweet it always sucks to blow a motor but it's great motivation to go bigger and better! Good luck with the swap!

Thanks, yeah it is pretty good motivation. Lol. I've been thinking about doing this swap for years and I finally have the means.

Sure thing! I'm hoping it goes fairly fast and smooth. I live across the state from where my car is and only get every other weekend off.

Well, here's a quick update. After the shipping company lost my engine and found it I finally picked it up yesterday. It's really happening. Unfortunately the car is on the opposite side of the state from me so it may take some time to finish it up. Luckily my dad is going to work on it this week. I'm really hoping to have it in this weekend but we'll see.

This is an I miss my car post.

I ended up having to return that motor. A big POS that the guy kept trying to get me to use it anyways. The clutch was super warn and there was a massive amount of corrosion in the coolant passages. The motor had really been abused. Word to the wise be weary of eBay sellers. I ordered a motor and trans from hmotors about 2 weeks ago and it should be here in a couple weeks. I'm very much looking forward to it's arrival.

I'm getting close and excited again. Hoping to have it running tomorrow but that's probably wishful thinking.
