Picked these 240 wheels up for $40. Not sure what im going to do with them. I may resell them or keep them as a spare set

And I welded in the repair panels on the passenger side. Tackling the driver side tomorrow. The welder worked pretty good.

Last few days of it being brown!

Did all the body work on the car, only have the driver side wheel arch left, then it gets painted tuesday!!This is a pic after the duraglass was put in,sanded down and then a skim coat of bondo over the top of it to fill in imperfections

Everything that will be going on the next two weeks!

With you and cp[mike] getting brand new Koni yellows for yours car, it makes me want to bite the bullet. They're $480 shipped for a set right now from Autoanything.com and another $315 for the Ground Control coilovers. Very tempting. I just don't think I could sell these Tein Super Streets for enough.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

Finished shot of the passenger side quarter.. came out nice and smooth!

            other arch tacked in

            body work done

Repainted the trim.. didnt want to risk overspray on fresh paint

been using this bedliner on the trim for years. It really comes out awesome, the texture is great, and it holds up well

            All done!

Dropped it off for paint this morning. Should be done thursday or friday.

Theo, putting in some good work! You are doing the body work yourself?

did this today. Just did the fronts for now. Im really hoping that the back wont be as severe as a drop, and that its just slammed in the front cause the back is at stock height

The right front shock was broken/destroyed

took her for a little ride around the block. Overall they ride okay. Kinda bouncy. Its hard to tell b/c the back is still at stock height. I am getting a loud bang from the left front though so I will have to check that out. Plan on doing the backs on sunday so we will see how the ride is after that

The ride is bouncy because the struts can't handle the spring rate. I had those same struts with Sport springs and they started become bouncy after a few months and that was with a soft spring rate.

Yeah i was afraid of that. I only paid $261 so im not that upset about it. Ill probably just change them out at the end of the summer for some koni yellows. either that or just get full coilovers
