Yes, and I thought that would be the last straw, but no. I waited a week for all five of them from Majestic too. I can't really torque the hex bolts they gave me to spec, but they are as snug as I could get them.

I used chemtool B-12 to clean the IACV. I wonder if it ruined some components. Someone on here had no more surge after replacing the IACV.

I had surge problems and for the life of me couldn't fix it. Then I went from a P13 to a P28 and it idled great.

Holy Cow, I just sourced a new Denso 36450-PT3-A01 to be here in the morning from a local shop. I am desperate to race, DESPERATE I TELL YOU!!!!

When I had the intake off, I would put my hand on the top TB bypass tube in the TB, (H23A1 TB btw) and I would almost have to completely cover it to get the idle to a nice 1100 or 1000 rpms. The leak must just be substantial. I would spray Chemtool on the IACV before I got new o-ring gaskets, and so much of it would get sucked right in the interface between the IACV and the plentum body.

I put a new Denso IACV in, and voila! The idle is back to normal, going racing!

Edit: rained out, dah!!!! Of all the days...

I can't see your picture, tishock, oh well.

Here are the pics of the mount filling:

This one leaked a butt load, but I kept pouring more in until it hardened:

Of course it has to RAIN on the one day my mount is out of the car and the hoist is holding the engine up!!!

                  It rained in California?

Yes, it hasn't really rained in over a month, and then the threat comes on Tuesday and Wednesday, right as I am getting ready to race! The best part is that they only canceled drag racing, but not drifting, and the rain stopped in Sonoma before 4pm, when the practice rounds were supposed to start. I think God did not want me there for whatever reason.

Thank you for stopping by. I saw your collection of rides in the Beginner's forum. Tell me you still have that turbo civic.

Sweet build, and that's a beautiful ride you got there!

How much power are you making with that setup?

                              Well, thank you very much.

You are not going to believe this, but...

Here's the thing: I need a larger plentum and smaller runner length, combined with much larger TB cross sectional area, and at least 2.5" exhaust and a custom header to make proper power with this head as it is. There are a couple of ways I can do this, but I think custom is the way to go on both ends. Porting would help as well, but I am going to wait on that until the nitrous stage of this build.

djcaz_aom, I have not forgotten your offer, and am waiting for the proper time. your plentum setup is absolutely prime, better than ITB's on this head, IMHO. It is coming...

Say what! I know you need supporting mods to make power, but that is crazy low! My accord made that stock!

Check out my build, im sure you will find it rather tasty!
EDIT: Check the last page especially. There is dyno sheet on page 3 and a little porn video as well at the buttom.
In my head, youre making too little power for those mods, what is the condition of your engine?
