    zmos86 : 1991 Accord LX

    91 Accord LX Coupe

    Swapped F20b auto version
    Stock 5speed Tranny (for the time being)

    MODs:

    RdX injectors
    Pherable.net ECU
    Prelude IM
    Aluminium Radiator
    AEM Cold Air intake (shortened)
    A/C & P/S removed
    eBay Headers
    Magnaflow Cata
    2.25in Exhaust Piping
    Twin Loop Exhaust
    16in. Rims w/hydro edge tire.

    Interior:
    OEM Prelude short shifter installed
    JVC Digital Media receiver

    Future Mods:

    rear disc brakes conversion
    new Koni Sport shocks
    Lowering Springs (purchased years ago, Brand unknown)
    not going to do anything to crazy.
    stock, sleeper, N/A build.

          What does that twin loop exhaust sound like on our cb7's?
          What makes me laugh about forums, is that no matter how much you try to help someone, they dont take the advice. Go ahead and do it the hard way.

          You got to respect what you drive, and appreciate what you have, making the best of what you got. and if that means putting CAI, HID's, a phat stereo system, and a idiot in the drivers seat...then so be it!

            Twin Loop Exhaust sound pretty good. i had just a straight thru piping and it was really loud. so i fixed it after receiving a ticket for improper muffler. now i have Magnaflow Cata and a resonator.

              New Shifter..


              Shifter i just received, waiting to be put on. one piece of the project marked out Thanks to Jarrett for having the part i was looking for.

              Also i purchased a H22a intake manifold for the F20b im going to order in a month. Pictures of the intake will be posted as soon it arrives.

                Also what "lowering springs" do you have and what struts do you plan to pair them with?

                  These are the springs. As for the brand, i have no idea. they were bought years ago and never put on. Yellow Koni Sport shocks are what im going to purchase next.

                    Installation of Prelude Short Shifter



                    Shifter knob requires a little grip strength. Grab just below silver ring and push down hard. No prying was necessary. unscrew the 4 screws around the center piece and set it to the side.



                    Next, unhooked both cables



                    These black clips, holding the cables to the plate, required some prying with a flat head screw driver. unbolt the shifter plate.



                    Installing the new assembly was really easy. I took my time and thought everything out, took around 2hrs. Im super pleased with this bolt on. cost effective and doesnt take a Degree to accomplish. Just a few hand tools and common sense.

                    MORE props goes to Jarrett for making this bolt on mod possible

                        Koni strt are orange. The koni Yellows are different. They have a damper adjust.

                        Those springs almost look like they would be stock replacements.

                        What you mean you bought an h22 intake for the f20b? You mean intake manifold? Or throttle body? Not saying or implying the h22 parts would or wouldn't mate up to the f20b. I'm not sure. Just don't know what you mean by h22 intake. Since a pipe is just a pipe.

                          Your probably right the springs arent going to lower my car by much. dont matter to me, i didnt pay for them.

                          I got an H22a Intake Manifold, complete. Fuel Rail, Throttle body, F23b & H22a Injections, EGR Valve, EGR Valve block off plate.

                            The wait is finally over. ive been busting my asss to make this swap happen and i received the most important part today.

                              Got the motor in, wired up and fixing to put fluids in it. Ima do a compression test today. I still haven't decided which injectors to use. I have a few sets of injectors on hand. I know 2 of the sets of injectors I have are 235cc and the other set I assume are Prelude injectors. The prelude injectors are going to need a different connector than what I have. I still need an ecu which I'm kinda putting off as the last purchase.





                              Big thanks to TracieS for making the F20b parts list thread. That thread made this swap so easy.
