    SilverFox : 1990 Accord LX



    Engine:

    Short ram intake off of OEM intake pipe
    Removed Cruise Control
    Removed exhuast heat shield
    New spark plugs/wires
    Rebuilding entire engine after a blown head gasket

    Exterior:

    Painted stock hood silver
    Paint matched the black trim all around
    (not really ext but its outside my engine bay) ran some 3'' pipe from my short ram to the passanger fog light cut-out
    Blue velocity stack, need opinions, my bud says its a little tacky

    Interior:

    Gutted the trunk and began work on the cabin
    Removed rear seats, seatbelts and that weird rubbery substance i found under them
    Removed center console
    Removed front seats to cut out most of the carpet, due to mold and funky smell

    Suspension:
    Discontinued 15'' Modia rims directly from Japan
    the rest ...Stock

    Audio:

    (broken radio was stolen) so all four speakers were removed

    Future plans:

    port and polished head
    Bisi 1.2 cam, 9.0-1 pistons and rods, AEM fuel rail
    full treadstone t3/t4 turbocharger kit
    larger rims around 17''
    2'' lowering springs with matched struts
    strut tower bars front and rear plus a c-pillar bar
    top secret paint scheme
    legend front lip

    ENG:




    she died on me back in December, been rebuilding her ever since.

      Well, it's a good starting platform. Looks like you've been giving it the TLC it needs.


      However, that velocity stack is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen. Looks totally out of place, and ugly.

            thanks ender, and yeah im starting to see the light mike I'll keep the pipe and resell the velocity stack

              Rebuilld Progress

              Valve cover trashed due to cracks on timing cover section, removed rocker arm assembly:




              Fuel rail and regulator Disconnected



              Camshaft and Distributor removed finding yet another blown seal/gasket:



              Exhaust manifold removed:



              Intake manifold plenum removed and inspected:



              Everything I've pulled from the engine so far:


              A bit of cleaning up:

              Passenger side strut tower wires cleaned up (10 mins)

                        Thanks guys. Would have been done by now but HOA says we can't work on our cars in the driveway plus I've been doing it all completely on my own the only help I've accepted was the use of a few of my father's power tools. I just hate the damn head bolts with a passion (snapped a wrench and broke the bearing on another trying to break em loose.)

                          Jotech used a velocity stack the same way and their civic put down very nice numbers. It was over 320hp. Granted there was a ton of engine work done on this car.
