No sir. Just a cheap temporary fix to make my severely stone chipped front bumper not look so terrible without spending the money and time on paint and prep.
Actually not a fan of the Plastidip after using it. Shit's expensive and it's only cool because you can remove it.
I plan to do some paint and body work to the wagon, but it may not happen for a while.
Debating to leave the bottom half blue and do silver from the bodyline up and split it with an orange pinstripe. The paint on the lower half of the car is in decent shape, but there is rust. The clear is all peeled off on the roof and fenders.
The car warrants a full repaint, so we'll see. I plan to keep this car, so it's worth fixing properly.
I also just wanted to try the Plastidip to see what all the fuss was about.

Wheeeew.. You have damn fine taste in mods Mike and I didn't think you was on the band wagon ( no pun intended ) I totally understand now.I like the idea of two tone on the wagon . I know whatever route you take it will be awesome..Your like Charlie Sheen , WINNING ...Especially in the cb game of life.
A man that keeps looking back can't see whats in front of him.

The wagon had some 3M type clear vinyl on the hood, but was peeling up so I took it off. I used your idea with the Plastidip to spray on a temp bra, but it looked awful, so I ripped it off.
The bumper and grille look good, and I did the door moldings too.
Eventually it'll get the TLC it needs.
