i think i have found the solution to all of my sharpie-fading woes.....


found oil-based paint markers by Sharpie last night.....started filling in with them....will take a while but will be sooooo worth it.

Did you read up and see how they last? If you do the whole car that way and it still fades, or worse, runs, you will be upset for the time spent. Otherwise, great find! Lol...

That looks promising bro! Get some up close pics of a spot as you put it on, I want to see how it looks, and you can compare after a while to see how it held up.


I know speed is not your thing, but have you done anything to clean the engine bay up? A wire tuck plus some.sharpie after would kill it!

i have actually been contacted recently by an independent film crew. the head guy in the crew is currently shooting on the set of Homeland (being filmed in charlotte). he actually shoots most of the nascar commercials you see today.

they want to shoot, interview, edit and create a full Sharpie commercial and then propose it to Sharpie. he said if they decide to use it they will pay their film company for it and in turn i will get a portion of the profit. i have nothing to lose but time.....so im going to do it.
