hey thanx man, yeah im not done yet, im always in a state of changing something on my car. Next i do wanna mold the scoops into the hood, shave her, take off the door handles and gas tank, thinking about taking the wing back off too, i used to ride with it off. im very indecisive. I've been through like 3 paint jobs, this one, then i got flames painted going all down the fenders and doors and painted eyelids on a diff. set of headlights, then i grew out of the flames and eyelids so i got it repainted, but we taped off the flames where they came out of the clear corners and painted over them without sanding those out, so if you look close on my car i have cool ghost flames....

I think it will look good when you shave it, are you sides molded in? if not are you gonna? If you shave the trunk you'll probably have to swap to a 4-door trunk so the inner tails wont slant in...I think you should take the wing off, I think 4th gens rear looks really clean without one, but then again thats just my opinion. --Jay

next weekend me an my mechanic are doing the door handles hopefully, if this cold weather ever goes away for a decent amount of time. I dont think im gonna mold this kit in because i want to go urethane (damn fiberglass is a BITCH) i also dont know about shaving the trunk. still pondering that one.
i agree, the 4th gens do look clean W/O the wing in the back, i have old pics of my car and the bitch looks raw without it on, but in the great Commonwealth of Virginia, my car around here already has a label with the local 5-0, so every safety item i have on that helps i like to leave on. I know its prolly me but i have been pulled over for groundclearance (even though the cop measured wrong, supposed to be like 14 in. or something from the support, he measured from the bottom of the kit. The judge thought i had 5 in. from my bumber support to the ground, lol.) neons (even though they werent on, again more bull) improper exhaust (even though it isnt, my cat is hooked up) and other crap. i even put seatbelt pads on my seatbelts so when a cop drives next to me he knows i have my SB on. crazy huh, im so paranoid

front kit - Street Fighter fiberglass (BLECHHHH), cost about 300 shipped from the internet

rear kit and sides - Neo Extreme (though redline auto sells them labeled as Extreme) i think it was 400 shipped also off the internet

google Redline Auto, they got pretty good prices on stuff, you can buy the entire Extreme kit for like 500, although personally i dont like the front

finally got my sides molded. heres a pic, sorry for the quality

i dyed the interior. replaced the seat too. i had the whole car stripped and had the shell painted. i miss her. she was my baby,
she fell victim to a blown ball joint on the interstate. after that she sat till i got some money. bought the parts, fixed her, but after that she scared the hell out of me, i just couldnt shake the feeling of losing control. so i never drove her hard again. plus the motor had well over 200,000 on it. i didnt have the money or the time to fix her properly, or do the swap like i wanted. at the time a buddy of mine whos house we were working on it at, his wife sat in it one day to move it and fell in love with it. a couple phone calls later, they gave me what i wanted for it so she was sold. ugh, they replaced the rims with some 17" gunmetal pep boys specials, she put seat covers on the front seats (over my brand new leather), flowery steering wheel cover, eventually he ran it into a tree killing the kit so it had a stock front bumper on in stock cb7 green, replaced the clear's with shitty looking amber corners and one day got pissed at his wife and kicked the fender, breaking the z3 inserts. their kid beat on the car with a set of keys all over the trunk. the list goes on and on. blown amp, replaced deck with a cheaper one cuz "she was used to it" , didnt like the shift knob, didnt like the kick panels, but wouldnt give them to me, didnt like the wood overlay, I had a trunk project i was doing with mirrors in the lid, im sure thats torn up, raised the car about an inch. etc......

told you i didnt want to talk about it.
