Holy Jesus balls.
I take two weeks off and this thing goes to hell and comes back from the dead, sexier than before. Me likey.
LOVELOVELOVE the front end. I totally agree with the way everything flows. I love that you kept amber corners and have the 9293 bumper. The lip looks great. Wheels look good. Drop is sweet and, as you said, needs to go up a hair. I absolutely love the tan leather.
I saw what you were saying about doing a 9293 trunk; do it. You also need to ditch those Tein decals.
Car really looks great man. Glad you kept it and im glad to hear your passion is back, for now.
Ever given thought to a 6G or something a little newer? Be it a beater or DD.

Thanks Mike, love to hear the appreciation of all my hard work.
I have some maintenance to do before winter.
-New windshield
-New UCA's/balljoints
-Possibly new RH axle (vibration under acceleration)
-Purchase winter wheels
-Tune up (getting done Friday)
-Front brake pads and inspect rear shoes. Have rear disc swap sitting in the garage.
-Repair or replace entire exhaust system. I want the car quiet and stock sounding. I have a brand new OEM muffler, but all my piping from the flexpipe to the muffler is rotten and all patched up with muffler cement and clamps.
I played around with headlight bulbs tonight. I finally got my 3000k yellow 9005's in the mail today that I waited a month for. I snagged some super white 9005s at the wreckers and modded them for my low beams. I don't know what brand they are, but they give out a light colour similar to Silverstars. So I now have these nice bluey white low beams and incredibly bright yellow high beams.
I plan to leave the headlight assemblies completely stock. I think the stock lights really flow with the white and amber.
I have to stay with the leather now, because if I've sold the parts sedan, I'm giving the guy my Prelude seats with it too. However, I do love the leather. It just looks so clean and classy against the white exterior and black interior.
The Tein decals will disappear. And if I can ever get my hands on a 9293 coupe trunk, I'm all over that. Every time I find a white 9293 coupe for sale I always email or inquire about buying/trading/swapping trunk lids and tail lights.
As for CG's, no I've never considered one mostly due to the V6 and tranny issues, and 4 cyl's are super hard to find. I'm really not interested in any Accords newer than CD5s, and I would gladly drive a CD5, but I still think the CB is a better car overall.
I don't know what it is about CB's. Of the 37 vehicles I've owned (10 of those now being CBs), I feel they are one of the best platforms I've owned for quality, reliability and ease of modifying.
I come from owning Mazda, Toyota, Fords Cadillac, Pontiac, Isuzu, Volkswagen, Chevrolet and Nissan, and nothing compared to my Hondas.Last edited by crazymikey; 09-13-2012, 02:00 AM.

I don't blame ya for sticking with Honda.
My cb was my first, truly first MY car, but it need a lot of work and ended up being a maintenance pit. I'm talking beyond regular maintenance. If I found another one, in really good shape...I'd consider it. I've had my eyes on a 99-00 civic sedan and I wanna do an EL front conversion.
Will the trunk from the parts car fit on your coupe? I think it will, won't it? Why not do that? LOL.

Oh yeah, lol. Thought it was 9293. Well crap, lol.
I want to do an EL conversion and although I love EK hatches, the EL front doesn't look so hot on hatches. On sedans its beautiful. I've had my taste of newer cars so it's definitely gotta be 99-00, lol.

Thank you to lilb1979 for the AOM nomination this month. Please vote.
Today, installed new PS and alt belts, Accord Inspire emblem, and swapped around my headlight bulbs, and put the 3000k's in my lowbeams. Later tonight or tomorrow I plan to attempt to install the Megan rear UCA's if I can get the ball joints seperated on my car. Then I just need to order a front camber kit.
Also picked up some 15" steelies at the wreckers today for my winter wheels. They have some nice little steel "H" embossed centre caps. I think rockin the steelies on coilovers for the winter might look pretty badass.

Looks like it has factory cb skirts as well, correct?
I was trying to find skirts that would flow with the mugen rep rear lip I have in the garage, but its just to large. What you have seems to be even all around.1991 Accord Ex - H22A - Omnipower Coilovers - Greddy SP2

If I can ever find a damn coupe trunk, I'll all over it. IMO, the best looking trunk of all years and models.
I almost grabbed a white 9293 sedan trunk at the JY today. I like the setup whiteshift has. White coupe with a 9293 sedan trunk and red/clear tails.
Yes, I have definetly put a lot of work into this car. While not much is mechanical, it's all cosmetic and suspension work...for the time being. I still have a lot of my sleeve for this car. An H swap may still be a certain possibility in the future, but as it is, this is already a pretty quick car in it's own right.
The side skirts are just the factory ones. If I ever find a 5th gen coupe again, I'd like the skirts from that to finish everything off.
As for tonight, I just finished installing the Megan rear UCA's, so now all I need is a front kit to finish off my suspension for now. I need to go through and see what bushings I have, because I have a whole bunch, although my current ones are still in pretty decent shape.
