Yeah I went with the Tein S Techs. Seems legit, not sure how they'd fake them, but I guess I'll see when I get them.

Also, I got a full set of tan seatbelts and buckles to finally finish my interior.

No pics til work gets done. It's going to be -20c all week, and it's too damn cold to even be outside. And I've got no room to work in the garage right now with my roommate working on his Camaro.

You would be surprised how well they make them look. The only problem with buy counterfeit stuff is the quality control and price. Here's a the link that made me find out my springs were fake.

Going by the box in the ebay ad, it has the authentic thicker, brighter "stylish spec" in the photo, so hopefully they are legit. I will definetly refer back to that site once they arrive to make sure with everything.

            Thanks for that!

Here's the link to the ones I bought. If they are what the photos show, these look legit to me.

Ya I agree with you they look like the reall ones, so that's good. But like I said I never thought that they made counterfeit car parts till I saw this. What are you planing to use for shocks?

OEMs. Budget is blown on the springs. F&F Type 1's at upgrade time.

Ok I got ya, the f&f are coil overs right? Do you plan on always adjusting them? I bought coil sleves on one of my cars thinking that I would do that, which I never did. I think a nice shock with that set of springs you got will make a better set up. And cheaper too!

Really depends, things are up in the air. Considering I have just spent $200 on one of the best sets of springs you can buy, why toss them for coilovers later, when I can just upgrade to better struts, right?

Oh for sure, you find some nice shocks to go with these springs and your laughing < I think that's how you spell it.

Been wanting to go with Tokico Blues for some time now, so those will be my first choice for a budget. If I can stretch it, I'd go with the Konis.

94-95 CD5. 96-97 ones are slightly different and don't fit as good as the 94-95s.

Got my tan seatbelts installed today.

Turns out he located the belts from my 93 SE. Because they are 93 front belts, they don't bolt up properly to the 9091, meaning some modification has to be done to make the seatbelt reel fit properly.

Other than that, just waiting for my Tein springs to arrive.
