I have a '68 firebird with a 455HO that is a beast!!
Hydraulic roller cam(.608 lift), 10:1 compression, oval open port aluminum heads, OHIO crank kit-the works.
I can bust the tires loose at 75mph just by stomping the pedal. I love my firebird. It is scary fast for something with 45 year old suspension design and drum brakes in the rear. That is what I will play with next, suspension and stopping power.
N/A and she puts down over 500whp and is farily street friendly. I could easily upgrade to Fuel injection and push this thing into the 700's N/A with an internal rebuild and new intake/carb setup.
V8's are fucking fun man!!
The 455 is an undersquare engine, so it has loads of torque.
My personal favorite is to use a 400 crank and a 350 block to pull a 383stroker.
Enough rev to make power, enough stroke to mean it.Originally posted by wed3kim a douchebag to people and i don't even own a lambo. whats your point? we, douchbags, come in all sorts of shapes and colours.

Firebird sounds fucking badass.
My roommate was looking for a 2nd gen Trans Am or Firebird when we came across this 72 Camaro through a customer of his at his work. Couldn't say no to a fucking 72 Z28 (1 of 2575) with a 454 stuffed in it.
I wish I had some exhaust clips of his 80 Z28. Holy shit, one of the best exhausts I have heard in my life, all custom built by a local shop. It roars.

I put some of that roll flashing over the lid on my car. I cut a slit into it so I could slide the harness through it and then put another layer on for good measure. My fume smell has noticeable decreased. There's still a hint of it with a full tank, though. However, I have not replaced the seal and locking like you.My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

Well, the day has come.....I actually sold the coupe today.
Actually, I didn't sell it. I traded it for a 1995 Integra RS coupe.
My reason for getting rid of the Accord is that I feel like I've maxed out my potential with these cars, aside from an engine swap. I've done pretty much everything to these cars, and this is the 3rd one I've built in 3 years. I just think it's time to move onto something different.
The Integra really needs some TLC. It's from Ontario and needs an Out Of Province inspection. I know it needs brakes, so I bought all new pads and rotors. Only to find one caliper is seized. Also missing a front sway bar link. There's random bondo spots for no apparent reason on it.
However, the 260 000km (eh, it's a Honda) B18 runs and drives like an absolute dream. I took this car on a 15 min test drive and I literally fell in love with the way the Integra drove. The body is rough, but that's TLC that can be worked on. The main thing is it runs and drives well, and shouldn't need much work to pass inspection.
This is not a car I am going to build up like the Accord. This will just be a daily driver with some mild mods and get it cleaned up. I see the potential in this car, even though the miles are higher.
Here's the beast.
Now, the guy that is getting my Accord is a nice guy in his 40s. He does lots of stereo competition stuff. He only lives about 4 blocks away from me...not too far from the kid that has my SE.
ALMOST made it to a year with this one. But I just have to move on. I have car ADD.

I have literally no clue why you even bother to state what your plans are with your vehicles. You always end up changing your mind anyway. You know very well that this car will eventually end up with lowering shocks and springs, new wheels and leather interior. My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint.
