    Fuuuuu That Sucks!

    KEEP IT NICE, NOT RICE

    Comment

Well...here's ugly as fuck winter mode.

      This is embarrassing to post.

17s needed to come off. They're all completely chewed down to the cords. I need the front camber kit ASAP before I wear out these new all seasons.

So I got these CD5 wheels from the guy I sold the sedan to.

Quick coat of Plastidip on them. Don't want to paint them permanently. Car looks awful. Can't use the center caps with my tuner lugs either. Ugh. So gross. And you'll notice the 9091 lip on the bumper now.

Try em with the center caps when you do get the other lug nuts.

              Kinda like the cap-less look.

Still rocking the TEIN decals, I see.

Sucks about the lip. Such is the low life though. This thing is DYING for a lip spoiler on the trunk. Flushmount might do but I'd like to see it naked or with something minimal. Just some thoughts.

All-in-all, still doesn't look bad, winter mode and all.

Where does everyone get the idea a camber kit solves tire wear. A camber kit corrects camber, not toe (which is leading cause to tire wear) when you lower your car you're supposed to align the Wheels by correcting the toe. you can also run negative camber with adjustment of toe.

I Plastidipped the wheels because I do not want to paint them. I'll probably clean them up at some point, so I didn't want to ruin the original finish.

To take my rear lip off, I have to take my bumper off, because when I installed the lip, I had the bumper off the car and I screwed it on from the inside of the bumper for some reason. That rear lip collects a shit load of snow and road debris in the winter, so I will probably take it off.

Been so busy with other stuff I haven't even had the time to peel the Tein decals off. I'm happy with the OEM spoiler on it right now. I'm happy with getting rid of that VW flushmount I had. I think the OEM spoiler flows nicely with the whole car.

Who said a camber kit alone will solve my tire wear issue? It's common knowledge that when correcting camber issues, you need to do a full alignment. I can clearly see that my toe is out when looking at the car straight on. The tire that is bald with the cords showing was one of my rear tires. The front tires are only worn on the very inside shoulders, which was the majority of my contact patch.

High speed cornering was also not helping my tire wear situation. I take corners like Mario Andretti in this thing. 30kmh onramp? Yeah. I'm doing like 80.

I sold the Prelude seats with the parts sedan. Also, the guy that bought my wagon was originally going to buy the coupe, and I gave him a choice of the Prelude seats or the leather seats. He chose the leather, so I installed the leather for him upon viewing. He didn't buy the car, and I had the leather back in it, so I just decided I preferred the look of the tan leather since the H swap plan went down the drain.

Ended up just ordering an anchor bolt camber kit, and some AEM brake pads, since my pads are getting quite low. Rotors are still good.

Your car still looks good in winter mode. Suck about the lip though but you have plenty of time to replace it.I bought a anchor bolt camber kit too and its been sitting in my room since march because it might cause the control arm to hit the tower.

My wagon had the anchor bolt kit in it and seemed to have no issues with it. It did the job, corrected camber and it seemed good, so figured I'd go with another one.

Once I have those installed, I'd like to get some adjustable toe bars for the rear as well. I already have the Megan adjustable UCAs in the rear. I also still need to upgrade to rear discs and an EX rear crossmember/sway bar setup.

I smashed my front lip into about 17 pieces on the highway today.

On the highway, heading back from lunch. Following an SUV infront of me, and a semi. I'm in the right lane, another vehicle to my left.

Cruising along about 75kmh, all of a sudden there's a big pile of mud in the middle of my lane. BANG. Hit it and ran over it before I even knew what happened. Looked in my rear view and saw a trail of plowed mud and pieces of my lip flying everywhere. No other damage to the ar, other than the underside packed with mud.

                            FFFFFFUUUUUU I am so pissed.
D: that freaking sucks man :/, owell incentive to try something new i guess?

It's alright for winter mode. Nothing would be worse than trying to look cool and totalling the car.
