Nice job on that cluster man! And the muffler looks so ghetto rigged, but fuck it. Nobody but everybody on cb7 tuner will ever see it It's ok though, when I welded in my resonator, all the welds that I did while the exhaust was of the car, came out beautiful, the welds I did while the exhaust was on the car? Yeah, lets say they could have been better!

Nice. Looks muuuch better all cleaned up. And that all black interior has me jealous, bro. It looks badass as fuck. Great work.

      as for the exhaust...

^ haha you said it. Why spend like $40-80 getting pipe cut and welded to fit at the shop when I can do it all myself and have it work properly for $6 worth of muffler clamps and some cement?

I did it the way I wanted it, without a shop saying "oh, we can't do that" or "this will cost extra" or "it won't fit and we'll have to change this and that."

I love the black interior for sure. Some of the painted items are showing some wear, like my driver door sill and the centre console. However the door panels and rear panels are holding up perfectly.

The white on black is a great look, and looks proper. I love knowing that the interior is completely custom, yet it looks like it could have left the factory that way.

This is the first time I'm looking forward to winter. Knowing I can have this car off the road and go over every single aspect of the car, and basically do a full resto mod on it.

Looks great. Aside from a little wear it looks like it could be a brochure picture set of the interior. What seats are those again? And did they bolt right up? I really need to figure something out for my car interior soon as I finish body work. Lucky you are up north its soo hot here right now hard to do much of anything outside.

Edit: ok 95 lure seats, did those bolt right up or require modification?

Yeah quite a bit of modifcation. Have to swap over CB7 rails, but the inside rails dont line up so you need to figure out a way to hold them down.

The rear seats are an easy fit, but you need to be creative, and you lose the ability to fold down your seat.

It's been hot as hell up here too the past couple weeks. Well into the 90s and near 100s with humidity. You stand outside and just sweat not even doing anything. It's been miserable to work in. Even at work, the shop I work in is 90 degrees like outside.

360 degree 194 white LEDs for the plate lights

One other thing to note about the CG cluster, is the gauges do the flicky/sweep calibration thing at start up, which is kinda cool. I am definetly upgrading to LEDs for this cluster.

What?!? Vids of said "sweep"...? Unless you wired it up, that's gotta be a CDM thing cuz mine don't do that...

And watch out when doing LEDs, you'll run into hot spots. The usage of foil tape should help though.

I was gonna say, in all my time working as a Honda technician, i've never seen a CG cluster 'sweep' when the ignition is turned on. I'd be very interested in seeing this 'sweep' as well.

Alrighty, will post a video for you guys tonight. I know they don't do it in the Odyssey, and was surprised when they did it in my car. It's not a full sweep, more like a half sweep flicker thing. Vid will show it.

As for the LEDs, I was just going to use 360 degree 194 LEDs for the backlighting, not a full LED swap.

my dad use to have a CG accord and it didn't do it on that lol. But it wasn't the V6 model so might be a difference?. We have a oddy to with the same cluster and it doesn't do it on that.

Been very hot and busy. Picking up the motor in just over a week hopefully. Possibly selling the truck just for some cash flow and drive the car for the summer.

Here's a clip of the cluster. It does this when the ignition is switched to the ON position. Weird? Yes. Cool? That too.

It almost looks like it's shorting out for a second or something. Did all the connectors have the same amount of pins as the CB cluster?

But yeah, it is kinda cool. Definitely different.
