Can you get a pic from underneath so I can see how you modded it to get the angle.
...I'd rather not show the dirty bits. I'm embarrassed with how ugly it is. Functional, yes. Look good? If you think clamps and muffler cement do.

Basically cut the stock muffler off. With the existing pipe, I used a piece of pipe with a slight bend in it, maybe 25-30 degrees. Small straight section of pipe slipped into it which fits into the muffler and hung the muffler using the existing hangers, but the rubber hangers are twisted now.

Nah its not metal touching im referring too, its that the muffler looks like you need to back it out more. IE heat rises. Mufflers installed too far in if they don't burn the bumper at least leave a ton of soot up around the area, so you may want to move it out a bit imo.

I'm aware of what may or may not happen. In this case, I have no concerns of the mounting and any heat or melting issues. It's as far out as the stock tip sat, which was near flush with the bumper. I might just get soot build up, but I'm not expecting my bumper or lip to warp.

Nice job on the muffler man. Looks pretty sweet with the angle it's at. I just had to install a resonator because a cop told me my exhaust was too loud to be driving at 12am with it :P Keep up the good work though man!

Thanks. Yeah, I got a ticket with the catback on my SE. This is significantly quieter. It doesn't have the annoying drone or rasp either.

6th gen cluster installed. OMFG what an absolute pain in the ass. 6 and a half hours to fit it, wire it, troubleshoot it and say fuck it for the night. Doing this for the first time was awful. Now that I know what to do, another one would be much easier to do.

                    But it looks awesome!

Couldn't find a cluster for a manual? Those autotragic gear indicators would bug the shit outa me...

Definitely sounds like you made a real effort to get it in there. Nice work.

Only 1 6th gen at my yard, 1 CB left (completely gutted and t-boned) and 2 CD5s.

I need to do something with the gear indicators, and I'd like to figure out how to make the tach work properly. The tach still revs as if it's an automatic.

Tomorrow is the big day I've been waiting all summer for, so I just need to get through this show n shine before I can rip it apart again and go over the wiring and everything.

I've never found a 6th gen at the yard Was it an i4?

It was a V6 automatic EX with tan leather. Had 343 000km on it. Tranny was gone or something. Body was alright. Since it's been in the yard, someone cut the roof skin off it. Now it's a convertible.

I found some nice EK Civic floor mats in an Si coupe that were grey and said "COUPE". I wanted them, but didn't feel like dying them black.
