Yeah I'm using the OEM shocks, but Tein says that these springs are designed to be used with OEM and aftermarket shocks. I've put over 1500km on them so far, so they have have settled by now. The car looks and feels noticeably lower in person, but in photos it looks like a 4x4.

These are the S-Tech springs too, which are supposed to be a 2" and 1.7" drop front and rear. I think it sits higher than my SE with Tanabe springs on the stock shocks.

Here's the SE lowered with 205/60/15. Waaaayyyy lower. I like the way it sits in this pic. My coupe is 4x4ing compared to it.

      Sunday DIY day.

Wanted to spice up the engine bay a little more. Anodized purple valve cover & rad support brackets using good ol' Duplicolor Metalcast purple. Originally I had done VHT wrinkle red, but it came out like crap and wasn't happy with it, so I stripped it down and redid it. I plan to do the top of the red breather in purple, as well as the dizzy cap. Slowly but surely, it's cleaning up and getting dressy.

And for the interior....why spend $30-60 on chrome gauge rings when you can simply make them yourself in about 5 minutes for $14? Yeah. This is the left over chrome trim I had from my door panels & side moldings. Red marker for the gauges. Literally spent 10 mins making the gauge cluster like this.

I've made a DIY for the gauge cluster in the DIY section.

I know it's hard being awesome, but I manage.

Any votes for Interior Swap Of The Year?

Every single one of your builds is just awesome man. I love the way the white coupe is looking man. Keep up all the good work.

Thank you for the kind words. Obviously it's this kind of praise that gives me the motivation to continue going above and beyond, and pushing both my skills & limits.

Being my 3rd build, I'm obviously becoming more and more familiar with these cars. I build the car for my own enjoyment, but at the same time, considering how much of it is DIY'd, I love to show off my craftsmanship. Heck, most of the time I do a mod and then I sit back and look at it and go "well that turned out even better than I expected."

The knowledge, help and atmosphere on this site is so motivating, especially for the guys just getting into these cars or even the scene all together.

I literally have a shoe string budget to work on, and I will never ever afford to build a car to the caliber of some of the incredible cars on here, like Ronald or 604_CB. But when you consider that at this moment, I have spent less than $3000 including purchase price to get my car to where it is now....

I thought you'd like those. Perhaps I see you doing this in the near future, since you already have some other little chrome accents inside?

So here's something new. Who knew a short ram intake from a 2.2 Cavalier/Sunfire fits on an Accord lol.

Work in progress pics. Painting my breather and battery tie down in anodized purple.

Jeez, so now I have Chevrolet,Ford and Volkswagen parts on my car.

Brands I'd rather use parts from than drive them.

I don't mind VWs, some of their new cars are pretty sweet. But for American cars...I'd never buy another one. I had a 90 Ford Taurus and an 86 Buick Century and they were just awful. I'd have to plug them in overnight during winter and even after that it took them time to start. I liked the Buick though because it was really comfy. But my Buick died, then I bought my CB7 (that was back in 2005), then 2 years later the Taurus died and I bought my 98 Camry which has been in my garage for the past 8 months because it needs valve adjustments and needs to get e-tested.
