Is the rod caps in good shape still? If not i'm sure a machine shop can get you squared away. You've still got some good parts there i'm sure you can find a F(I take it it's an F) Have it bored and maybe true up the caps if need be just depends on the damage. How bad is the damage to everything else besides the block and crank?
You lost out, but not on everything maybe the guy will help you out. I hate to see people spend good money for a dud!

Bearings should be fine (As long as the clearances are right, so measure and spec away before slaping bearing's in it with aftermarket rods). As for the rings i'd probably contact Arias and get a set just incase. I've seen/heard nippon (and other OEM equivalents) rings withstand 400whp, but since you've got those Arias i'd go with them the gaps maybe different from OEM i'd say they are.
Or contact bisi or a rep of his on here. How many miles where on the rings did it make good compression?Last edited by SOHC-FTW; 02-24-2012, 07:14 PM.

new updates
well early this week i ended up getting a weird chatter in the motor.so i changed the rod and main bearings.this is what they looked like.
worst main bearing
worst rod bearing
so once that was done i took on this horrid adventure.every thing had to be moved and re welded. turned the turbo a quarter move to pass the alt.moved the wastegate up and shortend it to just pass the alt.anyway heres my finished product!
