dang if you go with the matchbox make a DIY and i will be right behind you.

a while ago i really wanted to do a d2s in the place of my fogs and just have a water proof case for it. it would have been PIMP if i did lol.

Yeah man, that would have been pretty cool. Would have looked similar to the civic fogs or lexus fog projectors but with 10x the output!

I've decided i am going to do this, but not for a little while. For now i'll get them cleaned up, customized and yellow capped and just run some decent 55w H3 bulbs until i have the cash to drop on the matchbox mini's.

They will fit perfectly and have bi-xenon functionality, which is badass. I dare someone to cut me off...i'll flip on ALL my high-beams and let them know my displeasure with their hasty maneuver.

yea that would be pimp man. ive seen a GMC with like 8 projectors in it with fogs done as well.

There's a guy who's doing a matchbox retrofit on his hyundai accent fog-lights. He had to cut out a major portion of the back of his housing though, since it was too shallow to fit the matchbox mini's...but luckily it looks like they would be a PERFECT fit in some 90-91 CB fogs without cutting up the housings at all. I did some measurements and it's a match made in heaven.

Yeah dude, i really want them too. I'll actually use my fogs for lighting up the road instead of just for looks...

And are you saying you want to retrofit the high-beam bowl with another set of mini H1s?! DO IT! a quad retro would be SICK! plus the matchbox fogs...a sextuple-retro!!!

Not without cutting a hole in the back of the reflector bowl. But after that it should mount up just fine. I prefer to leave the halogen H1 bulbs in the high-beam bowls. That's just me. I hope you go for the quad retro on your one-piecers. It'll be nucking futs!
