It was a busy summer with some of that time spent working on the interior. It is just about finished on the inside.
Here are some updated pics for you to check out.
As well as working on finishing up the interior I put a sunroof visor on I picked up off a Legend at the junk yard and also dropped it on some Eibach Sportlines.
Well guys I got another update for on my CB7. I found an OEM lip off of an Acura Legend at the junk yard and decided to go to work on it and get it on my bumper. Here are the results...
The OEM lip of the Legend definitely gives the front end a more aggressive look and it was only about $15, which make is even better....
It's that time again kids..... Here is the latest update installment.... Yeah!!
During my time off around the holidays I finally decided it was time to get rid of the 19 year old pin stripes and oh man was that paint stubborn. After trying to get them off with Goo Gone and a few other things, I settled for some Meguiars rubbing compound and a dremel. Definitely more work than I thought it would be, but it sure does look a whole lot better.
With the recent snow and rain I found the typical leak any CB7 Accord will develop and that is the leaky tail lights. Not real nice to open your trunk and find two ponds on either side of your spare tire. So to fix that issue I cut some new gaskets from foam sheets and used RTV sealant to install the gaskets. While I had the lights removed I also drilled some drain holes and resealed them with silicone. Here are some pics of the gaskets.
And to wrap up my update for this round I decided it was time for a new exhaust setup. When I bought this ride I noticed right away that the second owner had replaced the stock dual tip muffler with a standard single tip setup and it was in not so good shape. To fix this issue I went with a Magnaflow muffler with a 4" dual walled tip and had it installed with all new piping form the cat back. Really ended up being quite cost effective.
Here are some pics of the 'Before', including me having to cut some of the bumper lip off for the muffler to sit where I wanted it.
