Thanks bro. All your positive comment go a long way. I really appreciate it fellas. They help keep me motivated and pushing to make my car even better. The turn signals and headlamps will soon get a similar paint treatment so that the theme is consistent throughout the car.

What it do Alex. Accord is coming along slowly but surely. Current project is still the foggies. One is done and ready to go. The other is still on the car so I have to pull it to take it apart and black out the inner housing. I picked up an OEM fog light Harness for Koochologist which I am waiting till the fogs are finished to run it. Buying things for it are on hold at the moment because I still need to cough up the other half of the money for that Bisi header from the group buy. You going to Wekfest on Sunday?

Thank Koo. I'm OG so I picked up them DC bars when DC was still making them many moons ago. I have all 3 which is actually one of the main reasons why I love my CB so much. I bought the front one from DC. Then, when I found out that DC was going to discontinue the rest, I picked up the other two off of eBay.

Yeah I can't wait. There should be a huge difference since everything is going to come together all at once. F22A6 lower runners, double stacked and functional IAB set up, H22 upper plenum and throttle body after sending it out to Maxbore, Bisimoto thermal IM gasket, 3" AEM CAI, Bisi header and Kteller 2.5" exhaust and finishing everything off with a good ecu tune should do wonders. I am sure I left something out, but you get the idea.

Dang you had me worried for a bit though. I thought you were going to part it out and sell her off. It's great to have some F22 love out here in Norcal. Everyone takes the easy route and throws in an H22 and calls it a day.

I wish I could make that Cali Accord meet in June, but I have a wedding to go to that same weekend. Next event for me, Wekfest in SF this weekend.

Update time!!!

Fog light lenses have now been sanded and re-polished.







This project is almost ready to be re-assembled. Just waiting for the paint to dry completely before they are sealed up.

Wow, those came out great, nice job man. What grit(s) sandpaper and what polish did you use if you don't mind me asking.

I started with 400 then I jumped to 800, 1000 and finally 2000. All done with a sanding block. Then I took some mothers billet aluminum polish to them and finished it all of with some 3m rubbing compound. I can still see some light scratches in them. I think a few more passes with the mothers should take care of that. All of the tiny rock chips are gone, there are just a few larger ones that I didn't want to take out. I need to get my hands on some nice thick clear vinyl to protect them from further road debris.

The Black housing idea came to me as an Idea to uniform the front end of my car some how. The chrome part of the housing is not just black paint, but black tint laid on very thick. Same stuff I used on my grill. All the rest of the front lights will be getting the same treatment soon. I am all ready now to install my wiring harness as well as the fogs since they are now all buttoned up. The black housings make a subtle difference but it is a difference.
