Loveing this build, the attention to detail and over all cleanliness is top notch
Can't wait to see what mods you have in store next!
Next up is going to be everything I have put aside for this delightful distraction from my plan. On with my new Intake setup.
- BB4 3" AEM CAI
- 68mm Skunk II Throttle body
- Opened up H22AX Upper Plenum
- F22A6 runners de-burred and gasket matched at both ends.
- Bisimoto Thermal head to IM gasket
Took me a while to source these parts and get them ready for installation but.

Well I have been following JDM92_Accorn build for quite a while now. His set up was very similar to the one I was putting together. He has documented dyno results listing the benefits and drawback to different set ups. I have assumed that he has easy access to a Dyno so he can track and document his individual changes. I basically asked him his thought and he has led me in the right direction. If your interested check it out. it's very informative.
If it wasn't for his thread and his helpI would basically be going into things by trial and error.
On to the mission at hand. Couple of things came in a few days ago. 3" AEM CAI and MitsubishiV5 DC Lower Tie bar, for them sexy upskirt pics soon to come. With no time wasted, Ivo polished and installed his new toy. He also took care of my CAI. I picked up a new AEM filter to go with the intake and it came with new AEM decals. 1 Decal might make it back onto the CAI.
With the C.A.R.B. exempt decal safely removed to be re-installed. The CAI was repaired, stripped, pirmered, wet sanded, and powder coated this sexy ass green color. I take no credit in the beautification of this piece as Ivo did all the work. I need to have he valve cover redone to match the CAI now. Going to order some vibrant performance red silicone hoses and an extension piece to mate up with the throttle body and air filter. Look at this gorgeous thing. It's like staring at a nice rack.
Even though I am thankful for all of IVO's hard work, I really need/want to put in my own time on some of these custom mods. I don't want it to ever get to the point where I feel like I am taking advantage of my friends. Maybe If I did some work on some of his build, I would feel better about things.
Don't be hesitant to ask me for help doing shit to your car bro. You know I'll do whatever I can to help you out as well. Thanks again Ivo (MitsubishiV5)
