Yeah, well the wheels were sold through Carlsson. Since I believe most the wheels in this design were intended for BMW's they were badged Hartge. The wheels are actually OZ Hartge. Since these were drilled with a 5 x 112 lug pattern means that these were intended for Mercedes. I think that's why they were sold with Carlsson badges on the center caps. The ones that come with Hartge center caps are drilled with 5 x 120 lug pattern. I just know they are rare. Because they are 3 piece I was able to re-configure them to optimize the wheel well space. I can't wait till they are all ready to mount.

Actually yeah, I a few things arrived. I picked up a 2.5" Vibrant performance flange and graphite gasket to mate the Bisi header to the rest of the exhaust off of Gunrunner. Great seller by the way, at least with my experiences with him. I also picked up an Apexi VAFC II from tJoodz which I am going to trade my buddy for his Apexi SAFC. I don't need a Vtec controller which is the main difference between the two.

I also am planning a trip at the end of the month to attend a meet in SoCal. Stickydiljoe is hosting Chronicles Year.IV Anniversary meet at Eibach. I bought 2 VIP parking spots last month and am kinda excited to go. I wish I had my JDM headlights ready for the meet but I honestly don't want to rush them.

How about you bro? Have you picked up some tires for those NT03? Vulcantire.com is where I got my Falken Azenis from.

Yeah like I said I am really excited to go to that meet. Mainly because I recently learned the history of who Joey Lee (StilckyDilJo) is. It's also a SoCal meet, so it will be nice to see some different builds. Been to many meets around the bay this year and I am seeing the same cars everywhere.

Long overdue update

Well I suppose an update is looong overdue. It's been quite a busy summer. Meets left and right, but all that I attended were great. The highlight I would have to say would be Chronicles. I took lots of pictures and am slowly learning Photograph the hard way, by trial and error.



The growing of my collection of parts has slowed down a bit. Monies a bit tighter but I should soon have everything I need to finish my exhaust and Intake changes. I recently picked up a 3" CAI that is still currently waiting to be shipped out to me. Plenty left to buy though.

Mods have been happening though. Right before Chronicles Year.IV I took my DIY grill apart to re-paint it. The road takes it's toll in grill paint. Paint stripper worked great to break down and strip off the black chrome treatment I used on it. Here are also the results after paint and some hot glue to hold the mesh in place.



Made the trip to SoCal with the Grill on the back seat.



The other mod I did before heading down Chronicles was my mudflaps. Ivo had already taken the set of EX-R rear mud flaps we found at the yard and painted part of them frost white. I wanted these on for the meet but I needed to set up a matching pair for the front. So as to complete the look this is what I did. Primer, 2 coats of white, like 5 layers of clear.

Then this last weekend I had some time so I decided to tackle installing my JDM side markers. That went straight forward. Just follows the DIY and then applied some paint to prevent rust and mission complete-o.

Thanks bro, I was scurred to cut hole in my fenders. I sucked it up though and got the job done. I think for the time being, I am going to hook them up to the turn signals in the bumper. However, after in install my JDM headlamps, they will take the function of the blinking corner light.
