It was nice meeting you too. My wife said to tell you that she liked your girlfriend. They chatted a bit. We should get together next time we're in the same town and hang out, and I should be in the CB next time. It's not far from drivable again.

Just a quick update. My door panels didn't turn out quite the way I wanted them too, so I am going another route. They looked amazing when I got them finished, but I didn't like them after I put them back in the car. After I get my goodies that I ordered today in the mail, It's back to work and more pics.

I got my new seats tonight. I will be installing them tomorrow. Here are a few pics for now though.

How is it on wear? Does it rub off when you sit on it or stain clothes? I thought about trying that for the backseat.

Well, it took me all day to figure out how to make a bracket to mount my seats on my sliders. I haven't finished putting them in yet. I'm beat and my drill is dead. They'll have to wait a few days.

On a side note, Installed my one piecers today and decided that they don't look right on my car. If anyone wants them, PM me.

Ok, so it's been a crazy week and I haven't had time to update my page. I did get my seats in my car, but I took them back out. A little piece of advice, don't follow the DIY on installing racing seats with the factory rails. It will work, but it is stupid, IMO. They sit too high and are ugly as you can tell from the pic below. They are also a little flimsy. I just ordered some frames from wedge racing that are specifically made for our cars. That should look better and be safer. I'll update when they get here.

Thanks man. Yeah they are made by Wedge racing and they are made to order for each individual car. They bolt straight in just like the stock ones do and they even have the mounts for the seat belts. If you buy those, you can put any seat you want in your car. You can get them from several places and they all cost about the same. i got mine from Andysautosport.com.
