Here's my new double-din OEM stereo. CR-V Clarion CD/MP3/AUX deck, upper, with Odyssey Matsushita cassette deck, lower. Sound quality from the Clarion deck is phenomenal. Highly recommended!

I still have to mount the AUX jack somewhere.



I'm so happy I don't have to deal with that bullshit Metra "dash kit" anymore. What a piece of trash.

Nice! Yeah it would have to mount vertically, because it's a tad longer than the width of those center console plugs.

It came with my CR-V deck, inside a DIN pocket. I'll be sure to check for a part number for ya.

I remember my first clarion stereo.

The highs were so crisp and the sound was just purely beautiful.

Not sure why i ever went back to alpine....ooo yeah, price!

That's an awesome deck MP3/WMA-capable CDs and Aux, maybe I can finally ditch my crappy Pioneer.

Is it a text display? I haven't done my CR-V research.

Thanks Steve! I actually wanted to install a cassette deck for some time. I don't have many cassettes right now, but I'm slowly building up a small collection. Nobody wants them anymore so they're super cheap and pretty easy to come by.

It sounds great. I think you'd be impressed for what it is. Good lows and just as important, very crisp highs. It helps that I've got a decent set of speakers, though. You know I don't drive with wake-the-neighbors loudness, so it does the job most excellently.

YES! The highs are so crisp and clear. I love it! My last Pioneer deck was doing fine with lows, but it was raspy at best with highs.
