My ebay exhaust arrived today. Yayyyyyy.

Well, it was yay until I opened up the box. The box was pretty beat up, but everything was wrapped in bubble wrap,foam and individually bagged. So, I pull the muffler out of the box and take it out of the bag and remove the bubble wrap and pull off the foam wrap just to find 3 big dents in it.

Really. WTF.

Whatever though, they wont be that visible once its on the car. It's being installed Friday or Saturday. Also having the cat replaced with a resonator.

I'm looking forward to it.

Damd that sucks. But at least you wont be able to see it when its on.

Epic fail. You can see the dent while it's on. It's ride on the side below the bumper.

Whatever,I don't like the sound from that muffler anyways. I'm going to replace it with an oval muffler with dual round tips like stock.

And the exhaust is freakin loud and farty. Pretty raspy too around 2500. I had my cat taken out and replaced with a resonator so that probably has something to do with it.

The shop my my old exhaust off and the new one installed and the car on the road in 30 minutes.

Here's my exhaust. Man does it ever look ricey. 4.5" tip is just rediculous. It doesn't sound too bad, except around 2500 its raspy as hell. Actually sounds like the piping is loose and vibrating, but it's just typical resonance in the exhaust doing that. I had my cat removed and replaced with a resonator, which may have something to do with the raspiness as well. Oh well.

Those Legend wheels you now have seems to fit pretty good, i may p/u a set too.

lol thanks guys. Yes, the Legend wheels are pretty decent, but they need 5mm spacers on the front. These ones are from a 91, and I prefer the 88-90 style with the more spoked design, but I can't find a set anywhere except on a car around the corner from me that hasnt moved in months. Might be time to inquire....cash & trade.


Anyways, I got that CD5 rear lip installed. Very easy mod. Do it if you can find one.

Painted the lip, got some better pics and changed up my tail lights.







Time for CD5 side skirts. Maybe next paycheck.

And yes, the passenger side CD5 lip needs some adjusting. Too much gap.

The lip doesn't look that bad jus adjust that gap; and i like what u did with the tail lights.
