Went to the wreckers today to go check on "my" 93 EXR parts car. Everything is still there. They are going to bill me $150 for the headlights, trunk lid, tails and rear bumper.
I'm going to blackhouse the 9293 headlights and run 9293 amber corners, and then swap the 9293 rear bumper and trunk lid.
ALL of my lights on my car right now are for sale, so if you want some red/clears,blackhoused headlights or clear corners, they're up for grabs and also posted in the classifieds.
I'm not getting the parts til next week, and I'll probably get somemore paint mixed up as well and redo my door and paint the 9293 trunk and bumper and install it.
They also got in a 92 Accord coupe at the yard today. I didnt get to look it over cuz it was still in the compound, but it was hit on the front passenger side and the airbags have been deployed. Otherwise, looks like lots of good usable parts on it. Let me know if you guys need stuff. It's white on grey cloth. Dont know if its auto or 5 spd yet.

Bored today and had no money to do anything, so did a little DIY work.
First off, when I painted my new bumper last week, I painted the fog light opening and lower grille slats body colour. I thought this was too much silver, so I repainted them black like stock and I think contrasts much better.
At the same time, you might also notice my grille. Took my spare grille, cut the slats out but left the emblem. Didn't reuse my big blue emblems, so I painted the stock emblem with Duplicolor Metalcast Ground Coat silver and blue, and sprayed the grille surround in semi gloss black.
I removed my giant ricey blue Honda emblem on the trunk and replaced it with the OEM 'H' badge, however I painted the H with Metalcast red.
Next week I get all the parts for my 9293 trunk and rear bumper swap and maybe a CD5 rear lip if they have one at the yard.Last edited by crazymikey; 03-07-2010, 07:01 PM.
