      Hey Mikey

can you please talk a little bit more about how you did the 9091/9293 double lip?

I kinda want to do it, I mean, it should be easier for me to find a 9091 lip around here...maybe.

Basically, how did you go about doing it, and how is the 9293 lip held on up there? is the bottom of the 9091 lip flat unlike ours?

BTW, I am REALLY feelin the way the car is lookin right now. With the black hood, sexy lip, and blackhoused headlights. It really is awesome.

      life is good.

        haha thanks

The lip mod was the easiest mod ever.

Step 1: Untolb said lip from donor bumper

Step 2: Remove bumper from SE

Step 3: Unbolt lip from SE bumper

Step 4: Flip bumper upside down, place SE lip in original spot, lay EXR lip on the SE lip, and wrap with zipties through the appropriate mounting holes.

        Step 5: Reinstall bumper

        Step 6: Sexytime

not so hard meow is it?

I need to figure out something to do with the rear of my car. Front looks great, but the rear is so boring even with the red clear tails. Just needs something. I don't like any of the OEM spoilers. I think I need some kind of flushmount.

              Bimmer flushie?

And yes, I didn't think it was too hard lol, just didn't know how it all worked up under there. Thanks for clearing it up though. I am rather slow.

              life is good.

Yeah I'll find some sort of flushmount.

Also need to do exhaust. I want an oval muffler with 2 round tips, preferably stainless double wall rolled tips to look clean and fairly OEM.

I was surprised how easy the lip mod worked out to be. After I put it together I stood there and looked at it and was like "holy crap. That was the easiest awesome mod ever."

And one of the best looking ones so far. Are you like the only person with a double lip setup? lol double lip...

I dunno, I haven't seen anyone else on here with a douple lip set up. I've seen people talk about it though. But no pics.

I like it cuz it looks totally custom using OEM parts. And the 9293 lip looks really good because it's not straight all the way across like the 9091 is. So with them doubled up,looks aggressive.

I dig the look. We should call it the "OEM Tulip (twolip) mod" ....or instead of a BK Double Stacker, we'll call it the CB Double Stacker.

Mmmm, now I want Burger King dammit.

Prelude steering wheel. Love it Best 5 minute mod ever.

OEM spoiler. Not installed yet. I can't decide if I like it.

Had some Solaris silver mixed up in spray bombs for me today. Repainted my new door, fender and front bumper. Bumper has yet to be installed. Will be on later tonight maybe. Unfortunately, the paint came out a little bit darker, but it's good enough until I have the whole car painted.

Haha, you've always got time for tim hortons

The Prelude wheel is the only interior mod I have planned. The CB7 interior is otherwise perfect as it is IMO. Except I need to get rid of that stupid non manual gear changer thingy in the console.

I'm chipping away at things that need to be done and things I want to do.

                          Really,really needing a drop.

I think next paycheck is a good time for an ATX and coolant system flush. Might also want to consider doing my timing belt soon. I have no idea when or if it's ever been done. Might just want to play it on the safe side and get it done sooner rather than later.

yeah man, the drop makes the car, and I was sooo sick of the 4x4 stance. I've been loving my s-techs, but Ive already replaced the rear shocks.... kinda wanting some GR2s.

I have always loved the interior of the CB... its very nice. Although mine has a little stick in between the drivers seat that says l-H

                            lol.

Probably for the next car. Going to look at a silver 90 on monday....fingers crossed theres not too much rust.
                            RIP

yeah I just need to save up for suspension.

I've got the donor car for the 5 speed, just need the time and help to do the swap.

Alright, got all my painting finished for now. New front bumper is painted and installed, fender and door are done and I think I figured out why my door came out so dark. The front bumper is almost a perfect match, and I just used grey primer on that. On the door, I used black sandable primer. I bet that's why it's so dark. Had I used grey it probably would have been lighter.

So, I just snapped these pics after washing the car. Still need to clean all the glass and interior. Looks so much better without all the dents and dings in it now.

                                The "good" side

Sprayed the grille opening and fog light covers in silver too

The painted side. The door came out good, just a little dark. It's already annoying me lol.

Here you can see what a good match the bumper is to the original paint on the fender
