Thank you, this car has been years in the making.And most of those years have been restoration. This car was absolute trash when I bought it. I've just recently (in the last year or so) started doing a lot of mods.

I did change my mind on the color...I like the frost white but I found another color that I fell in love with. I just have to have it.

I ordered new corner lights last night and they should be in soon. They are smoked amber to match my tail lights.

And yes Kenwood is amazing. It sounds sooo much better than any other head unit I've had. so clean sounding and the bass is not distorted at all.

well it looks good so far, keep it up. when is it getting painted?

GREAT JOB i wish i could find a girlfriend like you here in CT, girls are to worried about hair and nails.. love the leather swap u did.. and as far as the headlights and tails... very nice.. cant wait til u get it painted and throw everything on.. i just bought my first cb coupe and did alot of mechanic work to it... got a few ideas in mind and reading urs helped me out thankyou.. please keep us posted on EVERYTHING you do!

I'm glad I could help you out a little and give you some ideas. Your coupe looks clean as hell! I'm impatiently waiting to throw all these parts on. Its so hard to keep this all under wraps. lol It will be worth it though.

thanks... it was crashed BAD when i got it... fixed it the best i could still have a lot to do body wise... if you dont mind me asking are you having a shop paint it and around how much are they charging you? i want to repaint mine the same color... i love how ur family all drives CB's... mine used to look like this last week... cant wait to see what color ur painting yours.. i like your taste for stuff so far...

thanks... it was crashed BAD when i got it... fixed it the best i could still have a lot to do body wise... if you dont mind me asking are you having a shop paint it and around how much are they charging you? i want to repaint mine the same color... i love how ur family all drives CB's... mine used to look like this last week... cant wait to see what color ur painting yours.. i like your taste for stuff so far...

Today didnt go as smooth as planned...the weather is not cooperating. Its too cool here to do much. Bondo doesnt like to set up in cool weather. should finish the paint prep tomorrow though.

Another set back today too. I ran into some money issues so it looks like I'll have to wait til my next paycheck in two weeks to get my rims and tires put on.

Cheer up Nat ... on the up side (which you should focus on) is that you will still get it done and that extra wait will make it all that much sweeter

Its like having to get through all 7 games to win the NBA basketball finals or a custom made dress is taking longer than planned so as to get it just right for you

Thought i'd give two examples there to not be too sexist with the sports analogy (or am i by giving the dress analogy)

update!!!

finally finished paint prep at 4 am this morning. Took it to maaco. It should be painted by saturday.

Im so tired, that was a lot of work. Im so glad I got it done and done right though!

I'll post pics of the paint prep tonight.
