The dim out put is not very good since the bulb is covered by that bulb cover. Im going to take that off and see what it looks like then. The brights are just fine imo.

You see models at every car show.
But have you ever seen a model that actually takes the car she built to a show?

im pretty sure that taking the bulb cover off of the low beam is illegal

        Probably so....
I wouldn't know for sure though. I've never done research on it. Cops aren't too picky around here anyway

it is illegal lol and with HIDs that would be knda bright but then again idk how the output would be in a whitehouse housing....pics por favor

may be wrong but i thought you said you were going back to the original frost white change of plans?

looking forward to seeing the pics with new wheels, paint, tails etc.

i agree that it's more rewarding when you actually do all the mods/repairs

Starting paint prep friday evening to have it ready for paint next monday.
Then finally going to slap on my rims and tires now that the weather has finally cleared up. I'm so excited! And I cant wait to see how it turns out.
Can't wait to see the colour and the new rims with the new paint!!

Love the Kenwood stereo! I have Honda OEM's head unit (from Australian S2000) and guess what they are made by Kenwood (premium version no doubt)!! Love the sound and OEM feel and look!!

I have the same head unit in my Prelude which i love so much (best and most intuitive controls) that i got another for my CB. I plan to build it to have exactly the same sound system configuration.

Thank you, this car has been years in the making. And most of those years have been restoration. This car was absolute trash when I bought it. I've just recently (in the last year or so) started doing a lot of mods.

I did change my mind on the color...I like the frost white but I found another color that I fell in love with. I just have to have it.

I ordered new corner lights last night and they should be in soon. They are smoked amber to match my tail lights.

And yes Kenwood is amazing. It sounds sooo much better than any other head unit I've had. so clean sounding and the bass is not distorted at all.

Thanks, just letting you know that the visibility isnt that great on the dims if you paint the reflective surfaces like I did.

. I'm getting 8k hids to hep with that but I can deal with it. Just letting you know lol good luck!

                      6000k HIDs ftw.

I hate sounding all..."whatever" but optimal light output, i think, is somewhere between 4500k and 5500k. The higher the number, you start getting into blues and purples. Yeah, they look cool, but optimal, BRIGHT, output goes down as the number goes up.

                      Just saying.

well if you were gonna white out the entire housing then you should be thinking about doing a retrofit to fix the output problem

that way it'll still look good AND you'll have the output that you need to be able to see at night.

yes, I completely understand that. I just cant stand a yellowish looking light. 8k and 6k are my favs because they are pretty much a pure white color. I want an HID that I like looking at from outside the car, as well as good light output.
