I've recently begun my own tuck. In regards to your poll this is what I did, but then I have a short ram not a cold air. Used a Prelude mount from Password. Solved the potential jump start problem with remote terminals. This is a possible solution if you want to keep your trunk as clean as your bay, but still want the battery out of there.
What did you do with the fuse box and nearby vacuum boxes, btw? Did you remove the heater system? I'm trying to do my tuck without removing my nice heater. I know it gets just as cold in NE as it does here!Last edited by CyborgGT; 02-01-2011, 04:35 AM.

This brings me to my point. The engine generates more than enough vacuum to get the air it needs through the intake pipe. However, by opening up the bumper, the intake will, most likely, not be able to deliver the air as effectively.
Think of it this way: it's much tougher for humans to breathe air if it is moving at you at 70mph. If air is mostly stand-still, you'll have no problem taking deep breaths. This principle applies to car engines.Last edited by Nurega; 02-08-2011, 02:29 AM.Original-Owner 1991 Honda Accord
