I polished my header since its off the car anyways. Pics don't do it any justice but I'll post em anyways.

Looks good bro. The last time I attempted polishing out Stainless steel, I used a 3m scotchbrite pad. The grey colored one, with some mothers billet aluminum polish. It definitely cut my polishing time in half. You should try it to get those harsh spots out easier.

looks good, but it might go to waste after it heats up and begins to discolorate. just make sure you remove all the oily residue after install or you will have finger prints everywhere

Thanks for the tip, I was planing on it cause I read it in a D.I.Y. from H-T on polishing a header. I'm hoping it just discolors and doesn't turn all gray and shit like before cause I'll clean it this time before it heats up.

It's coming along pretty good, hoping to get her back on the road in a week or two. Going to try to get my engine all done tomorrow (the stuff that needs to be replaced). Then I need a bunch of little things like fluids, bolts, gaskets, and then I need to register it again by the 15th.

BTW, is your cat almost 20lbs? I think my cat is about 18lbs he awesome tho!
