Ill get a new lip eventually,But Right now its time to start fixing the rust!

I did some rust work today, couldn't find my rust remover pad so i had to make do with 100grit sand paper, i will be sanding it back down and then applying some filler when i get filler lol

doesn't look that bad, at least it looks like someone is trying now instead of just letting it rust away lol


and tomorrow's project will be much easier should be able to have this completely done as i don't think it will need any filler

Yeah, Its a good thing i like doing body work! , I was just going to leave it alone and have it as a beater... but then i was like nawww i love my CB now its my baby gotta do something special to her!
And that color is my number 1 choice right now

hmm fix all dings new paint new bumpers new grill used jdm headlights foglights gready lip intersection lights new rims

And that may be true hopefully not!

Its awesome that you are fixing that rust. But from a guy thats done it (more than once unfortunately) you will have to cut the rust out and weld in new metal or use fiberglass.

Simply priming and filling in OVER the rust will not last. Its just like cancer. You have to cut it all out, and repair. Leave it there, and it spreads.

But props to the hard work man, its come a long ways.

i know the proper way is to cut and weld but i have no way of doing that so im going to completely grind down as much rust as i can and then fiberglass over the hole... If it last 3 years ill be happy
