nah im fine with FWD if i went RWD it would have to be a truck or an American classic (unless i found a AE86 )
and not really any updates on the accord except i added a quart of oil and some brake / clutch fulid lol
btw shes around 4000 miles to a quart now, if you have an oil burner get the engine restore stuff from vatozone in the silver can and run chevron dello diesel oil 15W40, say hello to a quieter engine and say good bye to adding a quart every 1000 miles (that was on 20w50 too O_O )
oh and i should be fixing the exhuast soon my friend is loaning me some money to get it taken care of gonna just get the cheap dryer duct looking exhuast repair get from vatozone and cutting out the old piece and clamping that in its place, car is running like poo poo due to that kink
nothing new on it guys.. me and my family are currently flat broke and going thru an eviction. accord is sitting in the drive way out of gas . or something else wrong not sure it just wont start and we went 37 miles on 2 gallons so im sure its out. currently walking everywhere(was bike riding then my peddel broke off ) and looking for cans and bottles to get some money to eat so yeah not sure whats going to happen with the accord. even had it on craiglist and no one was interested =/ im hoping this bad luck turns around , whenever we get the money to put a gallon of gas in it and if it still doesnt start ill most likely have the neighbors tow it down to pick and pull for me as they take alot of cars down there and they pay about 250 for a complete car
idk guys this whole situation has gotten me so depressed lately just trying to stay strong the best i can but its hard
Economy is hurting all of us brother, just hold on tight. Hope things for out for you guys.
hope so man! trying to stay strong
i did happen to find a mint set of crx plug wires and they fit the accord, we got a gallon of gas in her the other day and shes running alot smoother with the new plug wires im glad it was just out of gas though i was a bit a worried as it took about 90 seconds worth of cranking before she fired up! had to of been completely out and full of air!
also not sure if i ever posted about it but about a month ago i was digging though so old boxs of mine and found my 10 disk sony cd changer(was in that acura legend i had) so i threw that in the accord so atleast i can hear some cds when im using it (cd player on the deck stopped working about 3 months ago)
my free crx plug wires pic lol.. runs alot better with them but still getting 18mpg ><
i found a can of carb cleaner too so i cleaned the tb out it was full of oil! and banged the dust out of the air filter lol damn dusty condtions.. lol.. cars running good though! just smells bad from leaking power steering fulid and running way to rich >< and exhuast leaks = carbon manoxicde (i cant spell )in car ><
brake pads are shot... hopefully getting it taken care of in a week or too! need to be able to stop ... might also be looking in to an ebay catback if not now then around january.. mine decided to break at the welds to the resonator >< sounds bad ass though haha
it gets like 22 if im in a lower elevation but up here its horible ><
got some updates!
was half off day at the junkyard spent $35 for this
had some legend rims but they kept saying they were aftermarket and wanted $75 for the set which i couldnt afford right now so i just got some steelies... ill get something better if it passes smog in feb but atleast matching rims now and i can get some hubcaps!
installed fuel door. repainted rims. installed speakers. saving tweeters for another day. changed oil. replaced the 02 sensor. new one throws a cel but car doesnt smell like raw gas O.o so ima leave it in there and see what kind of mpg it gets! old one didnt throw a cel but the car smelled so bad of raw gas ><
