Pulled the gas tank straps, rear subframe, pulling trailing arms, LCA's, emergency brake lines. ALL is coming out!

Rear camber kits? Look up wicked tuning rear arms. I think mine were 65 ish USD and they have worked great for years.

EDIT: the underside yes. And it does ok
but make sure you get rid of the dirt and use some type of rust converter first (por 15).

I've seen them plasti dipped, and both my accord and civic have roll on sound insulation.

Got a replacement tank, started working on it.

Got the girl doing the front braided lines


The drivers side one went well until the OEM line broke.


... and this led me to some problems.

1. I went to crappy tire and bought some pre-flared lines, bent it to match the old one but I couldn't get the ends to thread in. They would not thread in. I had some end pieces (gold) and those I could thread in by hand. The only difference was the pre-flared had extra material at the tip without threads.

2. I'll just flare my own, I bought a flare kit! NOT! The flare kit I bought sucks shit. It couldn't flare butter if you tried. (link to tool)

So I just need to figure out if there are different tips and buy a good flare tool as I'll need to flare the lines in the rear of the car.

Not sure about the missing link here...

Glad to see you got a new(to you) tank. Undercoating the trunk sounds good. How about rhino lining it? Should work the same way but cheaper.

What? Rhino lining? I haven't tried it myself but I hear it comes in a spray can. A lot of truck guys use this on their bumpers and stuff.
