Still not following you. I think you are referring to the brackets that the window wind visors have but make some for the rear visor? There would be no way to attach the bracket to the back window....

Yes exactly make brackets on the visor and 3m tape it to the window by the sides of the rear window a little before the edge of the visor stops It'll add strength, when I get to it I'll post or pm you a pic

ya............................. just figured I'd remove the 7 year old window visors. Turned out great (not). Dam that shit is baked on.




And regarding the rear visor. In the hotter areas they start to sag in the middle. Noticed the middle also "flutters" in the wind on the highway. I can see why it came loose from the wind. Crap tape doesn't help either. But the plan is to take a piece of wind visor left over and shape a piece into it like so...

I don't think anyone has. You'll have to let us know how they fit. Also good job finding them. I didn't even know they offered hood struts.

I can tell you they are about 2" short if you wanted to use the usual mounting points. Unless you don't want the hood to open very far. So I may have to drill and tap new holes.

So I had to drill some holes but they fit. The one hole in the fender is under the rubber piece if I ever get rid of these. The problem I have is that the one bolt on the fender is not strong enough to hold that hinge so I'll have to think of a way to fix it.

So ended up drilling and tapping two bolt holes for the bracket so it was super sturdy. I hid the bolts under the fenders so you don't see them. I set them up so the hood is high in the air than normal. Turned out great!

So i got these off ebay. lol..



I will give them a try. They are smaller than the OEM ones but the poly is denser. So far they suck, can't even fit around the bar.

Soooo, this is great news! This means i have the transmission F23 gear CS in spec and I can put the whole tranny back together. I also have to put the new synchros in too.


Also got started on the JDM folding mirrors. And what a project this will be...
All I could do is get the mirrors to fold. Once I had the left mirror going up and down as instructed, but lost that somehow. Still working on it...
