Tell me if 3 CB's is overkill (since I can leave one in FL o.O)?
I am almost home some of the goodies I bought have gone on but there are some major issues I gotta fix when I get back. And the F20BT is looking rather promising the closer I get to home.
Not only that I have to get some stuff for the JDM Headlights I bought (conversion kit) and for the OEM Fogs I bought (HIDS)....
A slew of things to do.....The CB7 Collector.Team Kindred Impulse Member #392 LX Coupe F22A12013 Toyota Corolla S92 EX Sedan F22A1Originally posted by deevergoteDo you really need to make a thread asking if having your car like this /---\ will cause uneven tire wear? So this CB may be getting parted out very soon. Upon my return from AFG I was not pleased with progress of my car so I am thinking yank H22 and place it in my LX and take the suspension and place it on my EX coupe and sell the excess parts. My car looks nothing like it did when I left and I am very disgrunted with its current status. Sad day...The CB7 Collector.Team Kindred Impulse Member #392 LX Coupe F22A12013 Toyota Corolla S92 EX Sedan F22A1Originally posted by deevergoteDo you really need to make a thread asking if having your car like this /---\ will cause uneven tire wear? Part it.
This is what happens when you let other people drive your shit, Happy. No offense to Jeremiah or whoever else, but obviously, they've proven my point.
I like the idea of putting the H22 in the white coupe. Build it. Its in pretty good shape.
OR, save up, sell them all and buy NEWER!!!!
You can do it brother. You know you can. Remember your BB6? Or my 6G? They're so nice and so clean, and much easier to maintain and lower miles and OBD2. I could go on forever.
OOH---great idea! Buy a high mileage 4cyl 6G, sedan or coupe, and put the H22 in that. YES!

Assuming your current H22 were OBD2 but I believe it is OBD1. You could convert the 6G to OBD1, but...meh.
If you do get a sedan just make sure it's 0102.

The Loss of 2 loves...
By popular demand I am posting about the demise of Bella. As most of you know I was deployed to Afghanistan and everything. It wasn't like I could take the car with me to AFG. So for about 2 months she sat at the Armory that I was deploying from. I had some friends come get her and she sat my friends house for a few months, work wasn't getting done. Another one of my buddies said hey I can come get her and you send me parts and I can get things done to it, so being the guy that I am I did. As time went by things started failing, VTEC wasn't kicking in ect. ect. wiring issue and his innovation (some of which I think was janky as f***) and the thought that my car needed a VTEC harness because it was a VTEC engine (deff no go there). It is deff tough to walk someone through a car when you are 7000 miles away in a combat zone. And slowly begins the demise of Bella and my hard work (some of his too). He was using it to go to work (he asked and I was ok with it) and really not taking care of it's appearance. Slowly but surely things have been stolen out of it and just left to sit there and rot.
So I came back to the states in April and got back to the KC area in May where I wound up staying with my girlfriend (as of last Sunday we are not together anymore, sad sad sad ). And finding the time to go and get my child (Bella) was quite difficult to go and get. Well Yesterday I get a text message saying my car has been dropped off in a computer parking lot in it's current state (albiet the FB post). Good thing I happened to be in Blue Springs the night before (as I have been kicked out and left for dead pretty much by my old lady) and went to go recover her later that day. I had sold my tails and the trunk lid and that was expected. But everything else that I had in there was missing, door panels gone, CB radio and head unit. I was told that folks had been coming around and stealing things and I am like and you didn't go and recover any of this? So I called USAA to get her towed to my old house for safe keeping for now and I am going to start parting her out here very soon. It's sad to see her go but I don't have the time or the money to mess with something that has gone way far south than it prolly should have gone. This was the CB7 that got me here with you awesome folks, the CB7 that helped get me some new friends. But hey like many other things life sucks and shit happens. She may relive in one of my other many CB's that I do happen to own, I am not out of the game but Bella deff sure is. It's been a good almost 4 years for sure.
Wish me luck with the others!!!

DAMN.
You coming down tomorrow? Hopefully you are. We gotta talk, lol. In short, this sucks. I wouldn't have let anyone care for my car but I understand your situation. It's a shame but at the same time, I never really considered this YOUR car. If that makes sense. It was built and sold in the condition that I was when you got it. You just kept it together. And now it's finally had enough.
