As far as updates go... my friend got in a minor accident with his '90 EX-R and it ended up being a write-off. So i got to go take/switch some parts. I got an arm rest for my winter beater. Switched his EX-R rims for my brothers EX steelies. Got a AEM intake, which is actually smaller in diameter than my e-bay special intake so not sure if im going to use it, seems silly to go down 1/2" just for the fact that its AEM. Also got a brand new Ractive strut bar, but it was baby blue and that wasn't going in the SE. So i painted it black, install will be in the morning. Im going to use it till i eventually get my ESP 3 point.

So i got a speeding ticket yesterday. I overtook 3 slow cars and i guess the in the time it took me to take these three cars over they caught me. I got pulled over half a km down the hwy. Got a $138 speeding ticket and a notice to get my vehicle inspected within the next 30 days.

So now the work needs to begin to get my car legal for the inspection. I need to do something about my front tint. I have my winter LX which i might just change the front windows for the inspection then switch back to the tinted ones. I like how they look and they protect my leather. Never had any issues with them in the past and the police officer didn't notice them because i rolled them both down once i got pulled over.

Im running a test pipe, so i need to put the cat back on. Had to do this anyways for AirCare [emission test].

Switch my white turn signal lights in the red/clears to orange.

JDM headlights aren't DOT approved. Hopefully thats not a big deal because they are stanleys. HID's are illegal on any car that didn't come with them from factory. Leaving that in though. They have to be lenient on that.

Got an auto cluster since we did a 5spd swap, hope that doesn't matter.

Unrelated, tomorrow im doing some work with undercoating and putting the grams back on... just to make me feel better about the car and situation.... stupid MVA was written in 1985 and it pretty much states anything aftermarket is illegal. How the hell does that work?

so i undercoated the wheel wells because last year i drove through some white paint. Used clay bar on the body right away to get the paint off but never got around to the wells till now. Took the front ones completely off and undercoated underneath them as well. Here are some pics, i'll post pics of the car with the grams once i wash it...

Since getting the VI i had to take the tint off the cb, which i really hate... fully understand why... but i liked it better with it on. If anyone ever has to do this, use a steamer, its by far the best method!
