I have a question though, In some of your earlier pix it looks like you have a double line on your cutoff. What causes that?
I didnt notice that on mine at all...


Is it because of the JDM headlights being plastic or something?

sick! wow i bet your like the second person who did this, cause i'm assuming im the first since no one stepped in, when I said first meaning first who did their own not pulled out money and paid someone to do it for them.

Great work, the reason mines was giving double lines is because my lense is really rough, they had cracks all across going vertically and horizontally the cracks were interferring with the light output. You even have good output, normally glass can distort up to 20% off the cut offs true colours and output but yours looks sharp and clean you must have nice minty fresh lenses, good job. Glad you tryed it out man and that your happy, I bet it feels nice driving at night with some sick lights! haha

haha truth your also going to start getting distracted by the intense and sharp cutt off be careful when driving lol happens to me i'm always looking at the center median wall on the highway at night so sharp and clean, you'll also notice at night if driving in the far left lane(the passing lane) people will move out your way infront of you since the flickering colours and intense light will have them thinking its a fat nasty german tank or something high end flying.

honestly i've yet to see an 5speed si in rl, but everyone says they came in 5speed but even my boss has an si and its auto but he also said that they came in both 5speed and auto.... weird its a d16a6, it pulls on my boys 96 si with a d15b vtec but either way right now theres a 1.6vtec motor out of a 97 el with the auto tranny in my shop im probably going to pop it just to get some vtec going on the beater...

the exterior is pretty rough, it needs some loving, but honestly im deabting over to swap a motor in her, or just sell her for whatever I can get is a profit anyways, and pick up a 2001civic for $1500cdn 4dr auto as a dd, i need a dd i have my cb as my project anyways... i think i might do the deal time to step up.

If you get the Si halfway presentable, you should be able to get $1500 all day long then get the newer civic and roll it.... LIKE A BOSS !!

anytime you can have them, so I did the deal I picked up a 98 honda civic Si with 0 rust garage stored for the last 12 years daily, highway driven from barrie to new market daily she runs mint I paid $1500 honestly i'll put it on the hoist on monday to have a look all around, only thing right now wrong with it is the hood release cable is broken which I happen to have one laying around out a 98 el ( same cable) but it drove smooth comming home down the highway btw its a 5speed. no more auto woot!

LOL, yeah man the width is crazy only thing that compares is the ls 430 or ls 460 from lexus other then that the new cx7 and cx9 is pretty nice same manufactor koito makes the projectors so I guess thats why cause they look like s2k, frosty though no clear lenses.

lil update

just a little update,

in the last little while I bought a 98 honda civic si 5speed its now my new dd sold the 90 si I picked up months earlyer made some good profit which I'll be using to buy parts for the cb of course. Now I've decided to pull out the pistons and re-ring them as well since I've gone in so deep already might as well finish it up, also since i've been planning my turbo build over the next few years, i've decided to take out my m2j5 tranny and just have a look at it and rebuild it if needed, so this summer i'm to rock a euro-r lsd tranny .

just a little change in future plans actually instead of the rockin my 18" with new 215/40/18 i'm actually went ahead and sold the 18" with tires, and I picked up a set of 15x6.5 meshies light weight looking for some zr tires thinking toyo if not falken either way should go nice with the fresh m2b4.
