thought of a couple more things:
-power locks (these things are messed up, no matter what i try, they always unlock both doors. the only way i can actualy get both doors locked is to push the lock paddle thing on the driver's door while holding the handle out. weird.)
-new stereo bracket (i've been dealing with a busted one that's loose and crooked for years, getting sick of it)

i'm sure i'll think of more.. it's been so long since i've been able to put anything but just the bare minimum into my car..

just for all who are concerned, i am alive and well in edmonton now, it was quite the drive though.. 14 1/2 hrs from toronto to thunder bay, 7 hrs from thunder bay to winnipeg and 13 hrs from winnipeg to edmonton...

got bored on the flat, straight highways in manitoba, so i took a crappy vid from my phone of me dropping into third and giving it a little go :P

that's as high as i can get without a spring compressor and a super stiff ride. and it's higher than it looks, there's less wheel gap cuz they're super huge tires, but i have good clearance. and fuck tireshine. they're my monster truck tires! they don't need to be pretty.

rims have been black a while.. like a long while.

wow your flywheel was burnt up! what clutch is that by the way? i hope thats an oem throwout bearing...

no rice: yeah i was excited about the bronze, but they came out way too gold in real life. if you like the bronze on black, spring might hold a surprise

minor: yeah the old pressure plate was burned up just as bad, i think the throwout bearing was sticking to the input shaft and not releasing the pressure plate fully, and that's what was causing my slipping and hence the burning. cuz as you can see, that clutch disc still had some life left. it's an F1 racing stage 3 sprung 6-puck copper ceramic. i was taking a bit of a risk putting that clutch in cuz i hadn't heard anything about them except they were made by exedy, but so far i like it. and yes, honda throwout.
