Its a CB man.....what you expect...to feel like you riding in a Caddy....nah dude....CB....pure ultimate driving experience, along with the road noise, occasional fart smell...squeaky suspension, bumpy ride type of thing....gotta love dude.

lol. im not expecting a cadi ride. i never did when it came to my CB. i knew when i was workin on it that it was gonna be loud. i LOVE the sound of my exhaust. but i hate that im having to constantly fix stuff on it and i dont have the days off to do the stuff. having a project car as a DD doesnt work for me. it may for others because they have the time. but not me.

CBs are fun but nowhere near any ultimate driving experience....

I love my CB7's, but like Shadow is saying is nowhere near a DD.
especially the amount we work on them.

yeah. for me, having a project car for a DD cant happen right now. if i cant find a nice CD5 or CG, then ill get another CB.

plans for any of the chassis said above, no mater what the car is.

-tint
-rims(XXRs)
-good full coilover set up. Func./Form Type Ones
-projector retrofit
-Mugen, Xenon, or some other type of lip


thats it. it'll be my DD and thats all. i want something smooth running. if i were to get another CB, then i know i wouldnt do anything to it but the list above. plus id be able to find a clean one at a good price and still have money left for the mods.

didnt seal it completely. so i have to take it all apart to reseal it. maybe that will give me a chance to realign the projector a lil bit.

well, found the problem with the CB. was gonna do some wet sanding and paint today too. but i opened my mouth to yawn and got a mouth FULL of pollen. i get allergies....BAD. i looked down my road and literally saw a huge cloud of pollen floating across the street. wtf?


but i do have some good news. ordered the Vigor rotors for my OEM BBK today. those should be in later this week. waiting to see if i have the cash for the brake pads. might order those next week or wait to go to auto zone for those.


i dont know tho. im still up in the air about selling the CB tho. if i sell it, i can get me a newer model CD or CG. i found a BB6 lude the guy wants to trade but it doesnt run. said it has a new dizzy and starter on it(dizzy from ebay). said he gets 4 turns out of it and then no spark. idk. if i were to get it, i could fix the problem for cheap and sell the that for $3-4k and get the car i want with cash left over for the DD mods i want......idk folks...

i may have found a new love for this thing. who knows. ill be redoing the rims tomorrow. they need some freshening up. some fresh white paint will do. would have today but the freakin pollen has been horrible.

tomorrow:
-open up headlight for seal
-wet sand fenders and other trouble spots
-repaint rims

eh. i was lookin out the window while i was at work and i fell in love with the look of the CB again. lol. plus the guy hasnt called yet. i aint goin lookin for him. ill get some pics up of the new arrival in a few tho. i gotta take my headlight off AGAIN because its still not sealed up right. condensation is building up again


ive bought all the BB guns im gonna buy so i think i can concentrate on getting the CB finished up. being that i have all my paint supplies now i should be able to get the paint finished up next week. i wanna get the CB looking clean and riding smooth. once i get that im sure ill love it 100% again.
