Sweet.
Im gonna drive my car for the first time today.
(finally got insurance)
Then, i'll be able to see whats wrong, here and there,
besides the obvious things.

yeah. i do the same when i 1st get a car. i get under the car, i pop the hood. i let it idle. all to see if i hear or see anything thats out of the norm. thats what i did with this car. it idled fine when i 1st got it. then when i swapped on my a6 IM, it idled funny. sounded like a WRX. lol. and i had a cell. come to find out, it was a bad injector. swapped it out(had like 50 of them things lying around the yard. lmao) and it ran perfectly.

I got my cb for $100.
The guy said it didnt run, but it didnt matter.
I bought it, looked through everything, got a new battery, and it fired right up. Our local JY was runnin a half off special, so I got a new motor (f22a4)
they heater core looked like shit. It knda lookd like rusty grits. So did the radiator, so I replaced both of those, and hadnt had problems since.
I only run it up and down the road though, so a distant trip would help me out more.

nice man. i got this cb for $200. the balance shaft seal had walked out and the car sat for like 2 years because they didnt know what was wrong with it. lol.s o now i have the car and it looks as it it does now. yay!!



but its kinda hard to trsut a car like that on a highway run tho. lol. id drive it on the highway for about 15min, then 30min, then an hour. just to see if it'll stand those speeds. but me? i raced it a few times. it goes thru more a beating racing than highway driving. lol. once i was convinced nothing was going to brake i started pricing parts. the master cylinder for my brakes is going out so i need a new one of those. while im doing that, ill be upgrading with the wagon rotors.

the rotors on the wagon are 11" compared to the i think 9 or 10". but if your get the rotors you have to get the calipers and the caliper brackets for it too. i want to do a rear disc upgrade too.

i would but i like my 2 lip combo. lol. but i might soon tho. ill get another bumper and just swap the bumpers out when i want a change. lol.
