Well another month, another post and update.

I've contacted Robert at Bisimoto Engineering (who is great by the way) and got started on the process of shipping my block out and finding out what I'd like and putting down a deposit. I'm going to be shipping out my block and rotating assembly on Monday.

Alright so I'll put up some pictures of what I'm doing until I get my engine back from Bisi.

      Here's the Drivers side.

      And here's the passenger side.

This is my work area that I've got.

And I thought I'd lost one of my hood pins when I moved the car. Yes I did have two when I towed it back to my place. but my room mate could only find one. When I did eventually find it I was like "WTF?" and had to do something unusual.

Ive seen it in action. Little F22B had the jump on old A6. That was a fun little highway run.

Will, first and only time i saw you, you had a ton of hair. You look like a different person without it. Couldnt wait for Noshavember to be over, huh?

^ HA HA HA Yeah. It was nice having long hair in the summer time because you roll down the windows and just enjoy the breeze. It started getting way too long through, to the point that it was getting difficult to manage and clean.

Shaving it off was nice too, one extreme to the next.

Anyways, this holiday season I'm buying the ESP traction bar and 3 point upper strut brace.

My engine should be coming back from Bisimoto Engineering some time in here and after I get it back, all I have to do is build it and buy the Hondata S300. I should probably try and order that from Bisi before he ships my engine back to me so that he can just stick it in there with the engine.

hmmm. ESP now, or Hondata S300 now. ESP is having that December sale and I don't really want to wait till a new sale comes up.

              We'll see

I just received a lovely phone call from Miss. Hedi with Bisimoto Engineering today. It turns out that my crank shaft has been damaged upon transit. Also inspection of the flywheel shows that I would be better off replacing it than trying to use it in my build. There was also a slight communication error between Robert and me earlier when setting everything up. It’s understandable, there’s a lot of information to get. I’ll have to mail in my ARP main studs to get a proper line bore. Doing the line bore without the ARP main studs is only going to destroy the block when I install them upon receiving the block. The line bore itself is a bit more than what was presumed also. Oh well.  I’m not too worried about all this. It’s only money.

Now I have to go home and tear into my spare junk yard engine for the crank shaft and main caps. Ship them off which isn’t going to be too much I hope, and purchase a flywheel and line bore $460.

It’s funny, I’m not too worried about it. She informed me that their going to be on vacation until February 10th or so and it’s kind of nice. I’m in no SUPER rush to get this done, but I’m definitely looking forward to the point in time where I’ll get to build my car again. Even if it’s naturally aspirated for now just driving it will be amazing. I can’t wait.

If anyone from Bisimoto sees this.

Thank You! Everything you do really makes a difference.

This is absurd. I just replaced the engine on my girlfriends 1986 Toyota Supra and not 3 thousand miles later it's got a blown head gasket. It's losing coolant and compression is leaking into the cooling system forcing all of the coolant out of the overflow tank. I'm playing L4D2 for a round and then getting started on that tonight. Ugh.

Well I just got the ARP head studs for my girlfriends 1986 Toyota Supra. Apparently they are really bad about blowing head gaskets because the stock torque spec is 20-30 ft-lb. shy of proper.

The head bolts have already been torqued twice already, and the ARP studs will ensure a great seal. I can't wait to fix it for her. hopefully it will run better than it ever has.

Between this is working two 60 hour work weeks, I'm so swamped. On top of this, I need to tear down my other engine and save all the bolts, map everything out, and get the crank and mains to go to Bisimoto for the line bore. I wonder if anyone else is this busy when it comes to cars and projects and mandatory work schedules.

Ok, so after two weeks of working 55 hours a week at work and working on my girlfriends 86 supra for a blown head gasket. It's done, and MAN it runs good! All the vacuum lines look complicated at first but once you get into it it's really not that bad.

Well, last Sunday I took apart my junk yard engine and transmission in 5 hours. I got the crank shaft to send in to Bisimoto engineering and I have everything I took off all laid out nice and neat. Once I get the block done it's just a matter of putting it together, getting an exhaust system made up, and tuning it. I am SO excited.

I need to get this thing done.

I have been CONSTANTLY trying to get a hold of bisimoto with no luck. Every time I call Hedi is always busy. So I figured I left her 5 messages. When they realize that the parts that I'm suppose to ship them aren't showing up. They will car and ask what's up.

It's weird. Usually they've been on the ball really well, but not it's just fallen into no mans land. I don't know if there's some special project going on there but I'm not about to send my stuff out there only to have to ship MORE items out. I'm not paying for three different shipment services.

Plus on top of all of that, I'm planning my wedding with my fiancee, and the budget is getting tight again, and I just want to get this car done.
