I purchased the car from tn_accords and confused_accord. It was in pretty DECENT shape when i got it but within a week, i had already blown both seals on the engine.


I really like the headlights.

Those racing stripes add 15 hp!!!

Stock exaust with about 500 holes due to rust...

Beenerfied wheels, nah j/k. I really don't know what they were...

Custom blown struts with stock springs.

Custom empty holes in the front, aftermarket speakers in the rear.

New stuff:
JDM H22a
5 speed conversion
4 struts
4 eibach sportline springs with a 2 1/2 inch drop.
Motegi SP5 Glossy Black rims
12'' Championship Sub
New passenger side door
2 1/4 inch piping and custom exaust tip

Exterior:
5 different colors of white... *not my doing*
35% tint on all windows (except passenger window)

Future Plans:
Fix vtec

For those of you that don't know, i will tell the story.

When i purchased the car, it had an f22a4 in the bay. I drove it for 5 1/2 weeks and put over 4k miles on it. In doing that, i blew both engine seals and needed about 3 quarts of oil EVERYDAY to keep it running. So, instead of continuing to waste money on oil (and waste away the environment) i went and bought an H22 with the h tranny. I drove my car 3 hours to the guy that i bought it from (tn_accords). Him and several other guys put the motor in and did the 5 speed swap. I guess because I was in kindof a hurry, we forgot to check and make sure several components were in working order...

At 4:30am, i left his house. About 2 hours into the trip (1 hour away from my house) my check oil light starts blinking. I IMMEDIATELY pulled over, but since i was on the interstate, it took some time. By the time i had the car into the shoulder and off, the damage had been done.

What had happened was this, the oil pan screw had vibrated off, causing all the oil to just spill out. But in doing this, cylinder number 3 shot down and blew off the ENTIRE row of connecting rods, scratched the cylinder walls, and broke 2 of my pistons. I don't hold them to blame because it was my fault in rushing out and they are good friends of mine.

*Another fact, spark plug cylinder 1 was FULL of water...*

So, after taking the f22a4 out just before it blew, 2 hours into my trip with my new motor, it actually blows up.

So, i had alittle extra cash lying around and went and purchased another H22, but this time, i didn't feel like going all the way to Tullahoma. I went and bought a cherry picker and started from what i knew. 92accordbl came and helped a bunch and i thank him for that. (Although he broke my vtec solenoid.) I got the motor in from the knowledge i gained from watching them in tullahoma and from this site. I really couldn't have done it without all of that.

So, that is my story.

As to the current motor... the wiring harness is WAY off... there are a couple of plugs that are missing... so i have to go get a new harness. Anybody know of one thats cheap?

Nice ride! Hows the lighting with your headlights? I used to have a set of those but the lighting on mine were terrible. As a result I purchased a set of JDM headlights. Your car is great.

As you can see from my pic, mine gives off a good amount of light. What kind of bulbs were you using?
