lol. wtf is with the slinky thing? lol. anyways. thats cool man. ill have some good changes next week. i need to get my new muffler put on i fixed my exhaust leak i had so my car sounds better now.

well updates:


i think either the clutch or the tranny is dead. took a permanent vacation on me. i get paid next week and im going to see if i can get the shop(and i dont normally do this either) to fix whats wrong with it.


i was about 3 days from junking this car and working on the $200 one im getting next week. its a 4dr '92 DX i think. 5spd at that. but i dont like the color. but its a cheap fix(the balance shaft seal went) but one that will take a while.



stupid issues. one after the other. makes me want to get a CD5 even more. lol

For $200 purchase for a 5spd cb7, that's great. Since you've done more work on your current auto cb7, keep that, just use the $200 car for 5spd swap parts, that is the easiest I see. Use parts from it to fix your tensioner issue as well and anything else you can swap from that car. Finally, scrap the $200 car and make some metal money back from it. I view that as the biggest bang for the buck. You will spend too much money and time fixing the $200 car to sell it, not worth it when you can use the cheap purchase for parts and more from it than what you paid for.

thats very true man. but the cb for $200 only has an oil leak on the balance shaft seal. i can fix that and then sell it for like $2k. it has 200k on it. so i cant get very much for it. but i might just take the parts off of it tho. i dont want to junk another DD ive been putting my blood, sweat and tears into again.

gonna be taking it apart tomorrow if it isnt raining had planned on doing that today but a storm rolled up.

update:


started up the '92 today. idled smoothly. OMG its been so long since ive had a car to idle that smoothly. lol. but ill be swapping all the parts over to the '92 now. Project Synister Spec A-II is dead now. its gonna cost too much to get the clutch replaced and too much time i dont have to get my car up and running.

it'll be cheaper to get the tag and registration switched over and fix whats wrong with the '92 than to go thru the crap with the '90. dag. this is my 5th car since 18. only one has been wrecked(only wrecked because i didnt have insurance on it.) and all the others just crap. oh well. at least i still have the performance parts.

somewhat. lol. ima put it in my other car tho. this project is dead now. ill be saving up money in the future so i can be able to get my car fixed when needed. but for now Spec A-II is dead
