i still dont see why people rev that high...the power peak is at 5200 rpm...after that, the power just drops off, you would be better off to just upshift, and get back in the strong part of the powerband in the next gear...

Because you get back up to the power band quicker by running the previous gear a little longer.

Damn now I see what a good clutch can do for our Accords...

I must say though I am thoroughly impressed by your chirps...my clutch is so dead I can't do a regular burnout, let alone chirp into 2nd, esp. during the summer! Damn man...

Anyone know how hard the clutch install is?

I guess my clutch is in better condition than I thought. When I come out of 1st at higher RPM's I always chirp hard when I hit 2nd, and if I run 2nd hard too I also chirp 3rd. I don't want people to think I am hard on my car, but when the need arises like trying to get out into traffic the old LX really spanks it hard.

With my new clutch I can chirp into 2nd a little bit...I think I need stiffer springs in front though cause whenever I peel out the whole front shakes. Not a good look...
