Cable Airport Air Show, Upland California

This airport is privately owned. Anyways, I started it off by taking a ride in this helicoptor for 35 bucks. Never rode in one before, it was awesome.

After the helicoptor ride, I rode in this 6 cylinder 1970 Cessna for 25 bucks. This was also a first for me. It was a freaken blast. Now I want to save up and buy one someday. The visibility from the cockpit is not as good as the chopper though.

The smog in this part of California is the worst in the Nation. And I believe it is also in the top 10 worst places on Earth. You can see it here, but this is light smog compared to summer.

Yeah, the show will continue tomarrow too and there will probably be less people there. 7 bucks to get in, 5 for students.

I am glad you had fun! IMO flying is absolutely the best thing in the world, which is why I do it everday. LOL!

I hope you have a lot of new flying adventures in the future, and if you ever get a chance, take a ride in a fully aerobatic airplane, but make sure you have the barf bag ready.

Thanks man, it seems to be an expensive passtime but well worth it I'm sure. I'm going to consider taking lessons in the future when I have several weeks of vacation time built up.

Yes, it is VERY expensive, but it is also unlike anything else.
