Lens test

Got me a .42X Wide angle off ebay with a telephoto lens. Telephoto doesnt work at this moment because they gave me the wrong adapter tube. But here are some pics:

Is it supposed to show the adapter on the corners?

Doesnt really look wideangle, more like fisheye.

Yea I need to zoom it in a bit and it will look straight. Its just the adapter tube they gave me is the wrong size so it hits the damn lens kinda ***. So I could zoom up to 2x and that was about it. Talking to the dude about the adapter tube since its the wrong app.

EDIT: I forgot to mention you can also turn the fisheye image into a wide angle image using image editors and such.

wide angle IS fisheye. two names for the same type of lense. im guessing NAiL05 has it on a point and shoot type of camers so when the lense moves while zooming it can show the corners.

Actually when I zoom in the edges go away. Its when I am all the way zoomed out it does the fisheye effect.

I bought it on ebay. Its not a bad aset but mine was for a canon dunno if its the same as your cam. Posted some pictures from walkin around campus weather was kinda ***.

nice.... they look out of focus tho... were u at a really slow shutter speed or was it having a hard time focusing due to the extra lense element?

Its having a hard time focusing. Mostly because of the adapter tube. I ttake pics of it fully zoomed out because if I zoome one it gets really close to the lens. I really need to get this adapter tube issue fixed if not just buy another one off ebay they are like 8 bucks anyway so yea. Also I was playing with a lot of shutter speeds also and couldnt really remember what i was hovering around. SO some coulda been slow or too fast and my hand isnt that stable sometimes. Mostly i just aimed at something shot and checked then adjusted setting again lol so basically I didnt take time in between shots to check my photos.
