...here we go again. its tape. used in auto x or track racing so the headlights don shatter. this is for anyone else also about to ask this the millionth time.

Not to worry about the tape thing I went through it for a littlewhile not to worry dont let it get to you. Nice rims once again youve really outdone yourself. Dont worry you have the rims on the correct way as is . The purpose of the rims in the direction that they are in now is because of the wind velocity hitting against the rims. The angle of the rims shape deflects right onto the rotor to keep it slightly cooler under stress and heat fatigue.

I didn't realize the sawblade design (mounted the correct way) actually helped deflect wind onto the rotors keeping them cooler... nice info/observation sparkle
