    Photoshoot 1-12-07

    I finished working on all kinds of stuff. Installed the new radiator, new pillar pod, headlights, lip, etc...

    I took some photos today, got the lip installed, installed my pillar pod and gauges, blackhoused headlights, etc...

    Interior, you can see my Alfa Otto gauges, pillar pod, red/black leather ebrake boot, black with red stitching shift boot, etc...


    You can see the blackhoused headlights and new mugen lip.


    red/clear taillights, and you can see my new "curly-Q" antenna.

              cheap struts, cheap coilover sleeves....for now.

              then I will get some tokicos and H&R springs later on.

              (please don't comment how crappy the ride will be with the above mentioned setup, trust me I know, but I already have the parts and I'm curious to see for myself)

                Well I did the drop today (well the fronts anyway). It wasn't too hard, hardest part was compressing the old springs to get them off.

                Well I took it for a ride, and wow, I must say it's exquisitely terrible. Bounces like a carnival ride and feels like if I hit a bump a strut will come through the hood. Well at least that was my impression at first. I must say the first couple of minutes of driving were appalling. Then after a few minutes I think everything "settled" into place and it became drastically better, but still pretty bad.

                This could also have a lot to do with the fact that I dropped it WAAAY too much, I was shooting for 1" to 1.5" and managed about 3"-3.5". It could also have to do with the fact that the rears are still stock and the difference between front and rear could be exaggerating the whole bouncing effect.



                I'm going to play with it over the next few days or so. I've got my Talon TSi for performance, the Accord is more for cruising around town. As long as I can get it to where it's decently comfortable and handles about as good as it did stock I'll be happy. So I'll post any updates here.

                P.S. I do have to admit the extreme drop looks good, but I scrape coming out of my driveway.
