    my cb7 story/pic thread

alright, i plan to make a members ride thread once the car is done, so here is my thread to show progress and what has been done to my car.

i recieved the car for christmas from my dad, who lived in carolina, when i still lived with my mom in ohio. long story short: they fought over the name the title would be in, so i had to leave my car at my dads. i bougt parts for it and installed them on my summer visit last year. i already plan on ditching them. but now i graduated highschool and moved in with my dad in june

the cb is being brought to life now. it hasnt been started since last july

it runs fine..but yano how it goes with the modding drug.

i have no pics from when i first got the car, so ill just go with oldest to most recent:

did you use that rubber compound spray for the wheel well? i used it on my controll arms and what not and it came out nice - just needs to cure for a while.

thanks for all the feedback. yeah im pretty sure thats the cleanest i will ever see my suspension setup..not matter how often i celan it, there will be some spots i cant get

but i took everything apart, sanded all the parts down and repainted them black

as for the wheel well, i scrubbed it down to bare cleanliess and sprayed new rubber undercoating, to protect from rust and give some noise isolation.

it gives a cleaner look, and the rubber repeels anything and sticks to about anything

im loving the way my repainted parts and new parts are looking...maybe soon i can actually drive the damn thing
