My DIY blackhoused headlights w/yellow hi-beam

Thanks man. I love the output of the yellow high beams and it does help out alot with fog, even the rain especially since its just the 9005 light reflecting off the paint. They are so bright that I was driving behind one of my friends cb7's and he said that all he could see in his review was yellow. now he wants me to do his lights. I must tell you they are BRIGHT so don't use them unless you have too. Ill try to take a night shot with the high beam on to show you the proof!

Thanks man. It took two days, one day for each head light since i didnt wanna rush anything. I put them in on the 3rd day. I have the black projectors too but since ive done this im not going back to those unless i do a car show or something. I want some of those ITR wheels dude. how did you manage to get some. I want some bad!!

well my friend actually told me about them....he was selling them, and he told me he would "hook it up", they had new tires on them too, and I only paid $200 for the set, and I stripped the wheels and polished them, im thinkin about painting the centers bronze, and leaving the lip polished...

I wanna get some blackhoused JDM 1 pieces....

$200 wow, let me know when you come across another set. I wanted some for xmas too. Well as far as I know about the black JDM 1 pieces, they are a rare find! all the ones ive seen come with the chrome background, the only difference I have seen is that the 90-91s have a chrome plate surrounding the front of the light and the 92-93s didnt. my friend has some JDM 1 pieces and he wants me to blackhouse his with the yellow hibeam. happy hunting for yours though.

the only thing i did different was use some krylon stained glass yellow paint for the high beam.

in that picture my highs are not on. the background of the headlight inside is yellow. not the bulb. the headlights look clear and yellow when all the lights are off. the picture after the one you are talking about, thats when the bright lights are on.
